I take it as commissioning to begin by that date, because there is no mention prior of the commissioning starting. It should have said completion of plant construction, beginning of commissioning, in my opinion. If it was the end of commissioning by 30 September, there would be a three month gap then to the December production target, where nothing would be happening. Lol. The RNS wording is poor.

I suppose the merits of the Swedish system are also that, everyone with an interest in the potential mine, whether in favour of or against, are allowed air time, their views/concerns taken on board. The problem has been with saturation, the overkill on this, without time limit, and the actual lack of any regard or protection for the company making the application. The company doing so while respectfully following the rules. If we are fortunate enough to be eventually granted the concession then, in line with the rules, but against all odds, lol, I wonder if the environmental stage will be in the same fashion? That of ye olde indeterminate timescale! There is only so much navel gazing any one person can undertake. Lol. Best wishes.

I like the sound of the Aussie system. Iron out the rough edges along the way, with important input from their "original" countrymen. In practice I'm trusting the Aborignal rights are protected etc, not just in theory. At least they have a process! The Swedish process, cough cough, to the untrained eye (lol), well, I'm sure it appears as if they are making it up as they go along. Evidence would also support that. Lol. ANI has meant that Kal has been a hot potato, in my opinion, instead of without the award, any old application that could perhaps have gone through like an absolute breeze, in say, 9-12 months, without anyone noticing. No political jockeying necessary. Not in the national interest kind of thing. The ANI has hampered us, insofar as those against mining in principle have been drawn to its status like moths to a lighthouse bulb, and have tried then to make a stand against the Swedish mining policy. ANI equals media coverage. The opposers have used that to their advantage. Only my view Aug. So there. Instead of our application being dealt with properly, nobody has wanted to take ownership of it, and even the Swe Gov is only dealing with it now because the Danes told them to get stuffed. Lol. Time for bed.

Five years and still no sign eh? Lol. Bearing in mind our ridiculous timescale with the Wulf, If I lived in Sweden Aug, there's no way I'd ever apply for planning permission to build anything. Unless it was for a family crypt. I'd apply then, but start the build simultaneously. If it just so happened that I became brown bread and was lobbed into said crypt before the building permission could either be granted or denied, brill, because my corpse wouldn't give a flying toss would it? Even better if, following my demise, permission was eventually denied, and they had to knock the entire structure down, ultimately bulldozing my carcass out into the adjacent wilderness. The wilderness where I'd previously been the very first person to successfully register the area as an ANI for Death. Howl.

Yes. Jezzer is too nice a guy perhaps. I don't feel he has a ruthless streak, whereas, based on evidence such as the MTR bid, it seems that Alex absolutely has. Jeremy would caringly attempt to nurse a sick grandma back to health, whereas I think Alex would be quick to simply put her in a wheelie bin for composting. Howl.

Thanks for sharing the info from your call to Alex. Much appreciated matey. What I would say, is that while Jeremy may have been the one frequently contacting ACI to determine the ongoing state of play, it was, and remains Alex's responsibility, to have sorted the obvious problem out. With his other appointments elsewhere, in my opinion, Alex has not even remotely given BMR the attention that it has both needed and merited. Hopefully with the JV, and with the experience of Bird and Leon, we shall finally see some timely progress, and, of course, it is something that we must have, if we are to keep the Zambian authorities from pulling the rug from under our feet.
