Good post earlier John. It isn't just a case of us selling up if we aren't happy with what is or isn't happening though. The time of fairness has long since passed. This is not a normal situation, and we shouldn't drop like flies because of it. Discussing and potentially asking for a different approach from our CEO, if need be, in order to deliver a goal, should be our right, part of our strategy. Kurt is our representative. Any investment must really have a timescale for progress, and especially so if there is a prescribed process for the award or otherwise of any permit relating to the sector in which the company is trying to operate. Hi you two. I don't agree that we must just continue to wait because the Swedes simply won't be pushed. It should be a consideration that we take steps legally if the Swedes are now found to be lying about prioritising our case. Supposing we are still waiting on our tenth candle? No, the process for a concession application is supposedly 9-12 months. We are into our seventh year. Damage financially just to stay afloat and in terms of progress has been massive already. I must trust that Kurt will be endeavouring to protect the interests of shareholders, which have been on the decline each year since the application was first submitted. I feel this damage more than most perhaps, because I've not been in a position to have reduced my average by very much over the last nine years. This though does really reflect the true situation of our Company's predicament, which as we know has been less than palatable. So I don't find waiting now appropriate, because value is being destroyed year upon year, via dilution, without any momentum on our flagship project. Into the seventh year of woe then. Long enough. The Swedes must deliver or be held accountable. All in my opinion only. Afty.

Hi Pocko. I'm not sure whether Kurt would have been removed. I don't feel we know enough of the minute details to determine that. We only know that we haven't yet received a decision on the concession. He has no doubt been overly accommodating during his early tenure, but that was in order to pick up the pieces of the trail left by Clive. In my view. It is abundantly clear though, that many investors here have had our fill of this Swedish game, and Kurt must know this, that he can't take continued support for granted, if we only ever have an indefinite timescale for progress on our main asset. I believe he's been the right person for the job, to date, insofar as building bridges with stakeholders and promoting a green, sustainable operation. I'm not sure whether it's in his nature to verbally bully a result from the Swedes, but come summer, if nothing is forthcoming from Baylan, I'm thinking Kurt could inform the Government that he has been left with no other option but to take legal action against it, for damages incurred over time. The authorites having already shown complete disregard for our Company and the significant investment in their country. We also having satisfied every award criteria. That this action will be the next step by BEM, unless a date is supplied by the Government for bringing this matter to a conclusion. Kurt could make this bad for the Swedes, in my opinion. Do they want a viral damnation while already sliding down the global business rankings? I still have confidence in his abilities then, that he can and will intelligently bring a favourable response from the Gov, before having to resort to 'Plan B'. Your concerns and frustrations are wholly understandable. I'd say that Kurt will need to do something in a month's time, if the Swedes are happy to keep giving us the cold shoulder. We shareholders are the ones who have been carrying the burden for all these years. Regardless of how frustrated Kurt may feel, he at least has something to show for his time here. Very decent wages and Options. Whereas we currently have nothing, other than a continual beating. Night Pocko.

Yes lb, I think "on the face of it" is right. For the Government to have informed us that it is prioritising our application and then have no further news of any progress at the meeting is quite rubbish. On the face of it. I also feel an update from BEM is appropriate, because we shouldn't just be finding out about such an event only via a link to Swedish radio. Kurt can then also give us a more detailed account of what occurred, relative to our investment. He may have additional and positive news for us that didn't appear via the press information in Andy's link. Time for bed.

Hi Sooz. Before summer was quoted by Kurt as being not unreasonable, so any part of the summer could be deemed unreasonable. In my view. It seems that BEM is the one doing all the work here. As usual. We have just shy of a month to go, but I'd expect the Swedes to have offered Kurt a reason for the continuance of the delay, if they have not decided by then. Moreover, if Kurt hears nothing at all, we'll know that the authorities are still showing no regard for this private investor in their country, and it'll be time, I feel, for him to hint more strongly of applying legal pressure. Of course the Sami wants the Government to continue to delay any decision. Indefinite delay means they have won their battle without having to really have lifted either a finger or hoof, lol, as, in spite of clear criteria for a concession, and our satisfaction of the same, the laws of the land are continuing to be made irrelevant, simply because said laws are not being upheld via inaction from the Government. So, I am trusting that Kurt will make the correct decision to protect our investment. Depending on Swedish activity, or lack thereof, in the next few weeks. Have to see. Footnote: Good old Andy.
