Having reviewed your inquiry, we hereby provide responses to the questions received:

It is noted that Lietuvos bankas does not provide information regarding applications received and the ongoing licensing process to third parties. Nevertheless, we would like to note that Crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) licensed by Lietuvos bankas can be found on the Lietuvos bankas website (please see https://www.lb.lt/en/sfi-financial-market-participants?market=3&subject=3&business_form=131). Virtual currency exchange operators (VASPs) registered in the Republic of Lithuania and supervised by the Financial Crime Investigation Service can be found on the Centre of Registers website (please see https://www.registrucentras.lt/jar/sarasai/vvko.php).

In the Republic of Lithuania, transitional (or grandfathering) period ends 31 December 2025. Therefore, all legal persons that are registered in the Republic of Lithuania and have not obtained a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) license will be required to cease operations as of 1 January 2026.

Gaining a MiCA licence is a very expensive process, we've done our spend unlike a lot of the Vasps out there who are running on a shoe string and can't even afford to apply. Then there are the onerous and costly requirements on top of that.

There are 30 EAA countries , I would say our chances are very good as indicated by the BOD of success, of the 10+ applicants in Lithuania , we will be one. Consider that these are now all that remain and we must be within sight of the rubber stamp as the 31st of December approaches. The chaff has been discarded, we are not one of them as the BoL obligates companies to inform their customer base of rejection.
