Doxorubicin is a $1bn generic drug and a standard of care for many soft tissue sarcomas despite severe cardiotoxicity issues that limits its effectiveness. In the case of Avacta’s improved version of this drug, AVA6000 pro-Doxorubicin that incorporates the pre|CISIONTM tumour targeting technology, a dramatic improvement in safety has been observed in pre-clinical animal models. If a similar reduction in cardiotoxicity is seen in humans in the phase I clinical trial of AVA6000, then there is the potential for a major license deal that could generate a transformational, non-dilutive, upfront payment of tens of millions of dollars. This funding would support all Avacta’s other programmes in future. The pre|CISIONTM technology to improve the safety of a large number of other established chemotherapies and generate similar licensing opportunities. For this reason, the Company is prioritising this programme.

The Group also benefits from revenue generating businesses in the human and veterinary diagnostics market.

Avacta expanding their Investor relations,courting Institutional Investors.

The question is :
Why would they do this if they did not have any news to tell investors ?

What’s the chances Avacta or Medusa wait for ODX to half again to about 6p and make a opportunist bid for 10 million.

Or do you think they will wait to buy off the receivers for less.

Could be a great move with bringing portfolio of diagnostics out in the future.

When big a Pharma lose a patent from a blockbuster they try everything to keep market share.
AS stated a lot of FAP drugs fail so Takeda I’ll be watching vey closely.

Takeda pharmaceuticals have their blockbuster Velcade coming of patent next year, the same year a new improved safer version enters into Clinical trials.
Avacta have history working with Takeda.

A lot of doom & gloom lately with the share price decline, but the following news all within last 3 months gives me more confidence to hold long term.

HUA for Medusa, ok we have a set back,but once this is sorted and Medusa start selling the cash will start to roll in.
Not as much revenue as Avacta could of received but enough to help fund therapeutics.

LG Chem this deal is worth nearly double the MCap now and with the other licences Avacta hold they sit in a strong position.
Avacta IP could be involved in a bidding war on the future.

Point are getting very excited and have just appointed Dr. Matthew Vincent who has a lot of experience working with Pre Cision on to their board.
