The insurity must be rife here to produce this aimed at me.
Both the SNG and control group were given SOC yet there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in any of the endpoints according to Synairgen.
I.e. It is not as 'good as SOC'. It didn't produce a statistically significant difference between two groups who both received SOC.
SNG001 failed on all primary and secondary endpoints.
Blaming it on the corticosteroids is complete rubbish as Synairgen themselves thought SNG001 worked so well with corticosteroids that they patented the use of inhaled interferon beta-1a with corticosteroids.
So yes, SNG001 failed. Plain and simple.
The SP wouldn't have dropped 92% if it didn't.
Good luck with your investment.
Tell me then, Sharedealer, what secondary endpoints did it hit?
Please tell me you actually read the trial data as it started where it covers primary and secondary endpoints? You know the ones that failed.
No, TheLocke. I have just as much right as you to be here. I'm not breaking any rules. I'm just stating that truth that this completely failed. The difference from the people ramping this is that I'm actually stating fact. I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble with me if I said this would be '£10 by Friday'.
1. Complete p3 failure.
2. No active 2 data until mid year.
3. Activ 2 - P3 on indefinite pause.
4. Only £25 million remaining for the company.
5. No platform studies currently available, or under planning, that SNG001 could be a part of.
Seems like there is much more downside risk to me.
Well 'Sharedealer' something I noticed when I did some research into this was the hostility towards anyone who had anything critical to say about Synairgen whilst ramping this to the sky with crazy prices. It drew a lot of people in who lost quite a lot as seen by the many stories shared here over the last few weeks. So I really don't have any issue with pointing out the complete failure in trial.
I can't see why people are blaming steroids for causing the failed trial when Synairgen themselves thought SNG001 worked so well with corticosteroids that they patented the use of interferon beta-1a with corticosteroids in 2020.
"Following the results of the interim analysis of Synairgen's exploratory Phase II clinical trial of inhaled SNG001 in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients (announced 8 September 2020), Synairgen has submitted a patent application for the use of inhaled interferon beta to treat virus-induced exacerbations in COPD patients undergoing treatment with systemic corticosteroids (e.g. oral corticosteroids)."
Not invested here but I did some research into this a while back so I thought it was puzzling to see people blame the steroids.
