Biomarkers need to be found in/on the cancer cells so you are eligible for the specific treatment. Angle's "dual analysis" finds about DOUBLE the amount of biomarkers standard CtDna analysis does!! DOUBE FFS! Angle Plc should be innundated with requests to analyse blood samples from lung cancer patients!!!!

What is wrong with the sales team there? Maybe it's because this service has only been available about the last 3 months?? Their sales team need to get on it!!!

Angle's lab offering the prospect of finding more biomarkers. Therefore more chance of the patient being eligible for some treatments that target biomarkers. You would have thought there would be considerable demand for this service. I wonder if it is on Illumina's web site somewhere? If not, why not?

It appears Angle's parsortix involvement is to find circulating tumour cells (CTC's) expressing the PRAME protein on the surface. This cannot be done using CtDna. Presumably to find suitable candidates for the treatment that targets PRAME.

Angle's results say they are involved with 3 of these trials with Immatics.

And quite possibly are still there to do. He did get the Eisai/Bliss pharma deal, but was extremely unlucky when Eisai got into financial difficulties and had to pull their financing of the trial. Bliss Pharma are loooking for a replacement partner as I understand it, so it could still happen. Angle did two Astrazeneca contracts but why no more have followed to date is a mystery that only Astrazeneca can answer. So many potential deals that just never got over the line. Him leaving may re-open the door to a lot of these potential deals. We will see. In the results the use of Parsortix in Immatics phase 3 trial certainly caught my eye and obviously the Myriad Genetics collaboration has massive potential. The Illumina/Angle lung cancer dual analysis is exclusively available from Angle's lab which should be very interesting. Not available anywhere else in the World.

Don't seem that interested in Circulating tumour cells (CTC's). They seem to not be looked at enough. Well, that is basically totally illogical from where I'm sitting. Do they exist? Yes. Can they be caught? Yes. Can they be analysed including DNA analysis? Yes. Can they spread cancer? Yes. can they be targeted? Yes. What can one say?

By the cancer drug as they may spread the cancer.

But they are involved with one preclinical Immatics one.

A collaboration with Myriad Genetics one hopes other similar Genetic analysis Companies will be knocking on Angle's door. If they add CTC analysis from a blood sample to their various existing genetic tests that are nearly all using solid tissue rather than blood Angle Plc might finally be in business. Obviously, the test from a standard blood sample will produce data weeks or even months faster. It seems to me this is simply a technical challenge similar to the one that Illumina and Angle overcame to produce the Illumina lung cancer dual analysis assay that Angle already offer all be it only from their own lab at the moment. IMHO this should come good in time basically. The Illumina experience hopefully will mean it is done quite soon as well.

It's easy to assume "there must be some sort of big reason", but what if they decided several months ago to concentrate almost solely on the NHS?

They must be getting data from the 14 non Scottish hospital neonatal ward trials now. I suspect the application will be done in the next few months or sooner. It makes no sense at all for it to be sat on. On application the sp will rocket IMHO.
