Brent now above level the EIA report came out & rising.
Currently cfd's $41.88..........

substancially over the next few weeks due to USA cut backs and of course the OPEC plus ones.
The EIA reporting a crude oil draw 15 mins ago of 7.195m barrels has not affected the price of Brent....... yet. In fact it looks down. I assume virus worries. However I see the local lockdowns working and the USA virus leaps frightening the hell out of people so they will wear masks etc.. I see Brent a lot higher by tomorrow, say $42. I'm convinced it will rise from there. I think the USA cuts will have much more effect than the market thinks. A whole swathe of shale oil will disappear IMHO.

I like to keep my "ramps" true and factual, it is merely making sure everyone knows what is happening. The following link shows some interesying viewing figures with bikes at the Halfords web site. As you can see some are on their way to 3000 already today. They really did change the "Top viewed" message from 500 hits before the virus to 10,000 I believe in April. This was because the "Top viewed" message appeared after 500 hits and there were so many hits they all said "Top viewed" by around mid morning (the hits number replaced by "Top Viewed", not saying hos many hits any more fo some daft reason). It just occurred to me. Before the virus effect the "Top viewed" massage for any particular bike appeared after hits number got to 500 (five hundred).
THEY INCREASED IT TO 10,000 (TEN THOUSAND) and by late afternoon some bikes are hitting this level of hits !!!
This was done I'd say in April. I noticed but did not think to post it here.
I asked a Halfords shop worked how sales have been and was told more than double the usual, or words to that effect. many of these bikes are over £1000, and some nearly £3,000. I expect the results on 1st July to be spectacular.

News report on each half hour news session late this afternoon and this evening about electric scooters becoming legal to hire shortly.
Although it says privately owned ones are currently still illegal (not for long IMHO) I'd guess 12m people will see the report and a very small percentage will buy a scooter because of seeing it. Even a tiny percent will send scooter sales through the roof and beyond.
I'm thinking share price £1.60 to £1.70 by close of play tomorrow. Peak maybe £1.75??

So will be legal to hire soon in certain cities.
This is part of the Governments evaluation process for privately owned ones.
I can see that restricting the speed is needed (hire ones limited to 15 mph). Also you need a driving license!
To me it's annoying that some people are kicking up a fuss about new green cheap transport that is by any stretch a lot safer than riding a bike.
It seems obvious to me give it a month or two privately owned scooters will be legal, limited to 15mph.
Why can't our Government talk to the French to get info to evaluate as Paris has had them for years I read.
All this is just Government red tape taking months and costing a shed load of money.
FFS just limit the speed, make it so you need a driving license and then legalise them!!! ****NOW!!!***.

private scooters, they know that. People are simply ignoing the current law. If caught a fine or they confiscate it. However too many people are using them. The rental scheme is the final test.
Actually a few days ago I was walking along a road (on the pavement) when a man riding an electric scooter went past on the road. Mind you in that road you have more chance of meeting an alien from outer space than a police man.

I presume as they have more control. It is the next step towards legalising private scooters. No mention of insurance so that is good (although I was stunned when I read that may be needed, I mean what's more dangerous a scotter or a bike with 27" wheels, gears & a chain plus you are 3-4 feet off the ground!).

Regarding cars/vans another thing Halfords would benefit from is car battery and battery recharger sales. Leaving your car/van for longer than a week or so you may well find the battery is flat. So those returni nh to work may have had a few issues and been to halfords to get the gear !

Bikes........ electric bikes.......electric scooters...........Camping equipment......... roof racks........ trailers.
Plus if lockdown returns they are in a better position than most as we have seen to date.
