Boris the bike fan and Mr Sunak will cancel VAT on bike sales? This has been rumoured but no more than that, yet.
If the Government do reduce or cancel vat for a while on some things you can be sure Bikes will be one of them. Top of the list I should think.

These range from around £450 right up to £3,000. One presumes the margin with these is very good.

crude oil stocks report in USA coming out our time 9:30 this evening and last time was draw of 8m barrels.
By 9 this evening Brent will be North of $43 I'm pretty sure.
Another decent draw from API followed by Wed EIA report (3:30 our time tomorrow) decent draw too (last time 7m draw) I can see Brent over $45.

2. Government trialing electric scooters for IMHO legalising them. When that happens electric scooter sales will ROCKET. Ideal for commuting to work. Most people able to carry so take on train/tube/bus if necessary. Some have 28 mile range even now. Electric scooters will be everywhere give it 3 years IMHO. Halfords have a good range and sell the best selling in the Wold model.
Halfords are a very solid bet by any stretch. A lot lot more risky shares for the market to put their money than here.
Over £2.00 is just a matter of time.

Actually results better than the guidance RNS of 6th May, where after the sp went to ***£1.96p***. Current £1.65, so no sense there then! £1.66p now, improving.

and if you check the chart the sp was £2.25 ish back then.
Clearly the business model is robust considering the virus litrally sinking other Companies.
Hopefully we will be looking at £1.90 to £2.20p here. Will be interesting.

We will know by 7:30 AM tomorrow.
Gut feeling is the sp will top £2.00. However whether it stays there I presume will depend on their comments regarding current and future trading. The stock levels have been increasing a lot the last 3 weeks or so judging by the web site. If they are getting substancial deliveries in, yet cannot build up stock levels because of massive demand then the sp will, I presume rise to more like £2.50. We all know bicycle demand has been/still is huge, but how huge Halfords are the best to ask!
