I thought that was hardly surprising myself but hey-ho. I mean this CDC's job is to oversee Cruising I thought? OK they are mking life difficult for the Cruise ships operating in the USA as they want test cruises etc. with less people on blah blah.
I think that news combined with todays general sell off is the reason.
The good thing is this could turn around in no time. Once it (hopefully) becomes obvious that a cruise ship with vaccinated people on board would be no more dangerous than previously with say a few flu cases I think logic will prevail.

$71 is a level at which, I would dare to say, ALL oil companies would be happy at. Presumably in a few months when oil Co. profits are announced the sp's will rise.
I see BP has improved a bit to 3.8% down. I wonder what a bid would come in at if there was one......... £5.00 a share or so I should think, or maybe £4.50. So @ £2.80 it is complete madness.

Complete madness. Brent may have falled to $69.99 but it will return to $75 in the next few weeks IMHO. And anyway $69 is a very nice price for Brent. So is $65.

Last lock down this had hit 4,500 per day. So we are a long way off. However how sick are these people. The fools who have not had the jab when offered are no doubt generally in a very bad way or even dying. BUT a lot of others in hospital must have had one jab, giving them a far better chance. So the thing is how long is the average patient in hospital for. I have no idea BUT I should think far less time than before. So less time in hospital, less likely to die. The Government were IMHO VERY confident the hospitals will cope ok. VERY from what I have heard. I think this is why.

is part of it, although they have always said you can get mild ish covid even after 2 jabs. Looks a bit of an extreme drop to me as they said they have cash for ..... was it next 12 months or something! 2,800 passenger cruise ship docked after sucessful cruise in usa as well last Friday so it is rather odd!! I mean that was excellent news if ever there was any!!!!
