I think VOD, with a market cap of £31 Billion and assets in India they have already completely written off will not be playing ball unless they get the whole award sum, including interest and legal costs. I mean, what do they care? AND without them withdrawing the International Arbitration action it will stand and India's credit rating will be trashed I think!!! I think VOD's involvement may help Cairn get the lot!!! We will see.

$600 million (interest and legal fees of $700m less $100 million to get it sorted out).
The Indian Govenment could say they saved $100 million and sell that to the voters.
