Indian Government compensation (without the interest and legal costs) $1.2 Billion = £862m.
So the compensation amount without the interest and legal costs is MORE than Cairns current market cap, Right????? I really dispair. No wonder the USA shares are valued so much higher. No wonder USA Co's are always buying UK ones.

Cairn are a big successful oil Company with hundereds of millions in the bank. WHY SHOULD THEY NOT GET THE FULL $1.7 Billion? Shows that the Indian Government are not wiling to follow the law as far as the International Arbitration Court goes. Not good. In fact how will this make their international reputation better??
Just continue the litigation I think.
