IAG, to me at least would NOT be affected much even if Russia invades. Just fly the planes out and use them elsewhere. As I said compared to the nightmare of COVID Russia invading Ukraine would be a walk in the park.

Over the last weeks both IAG and CCL shares have rocketed up.......
Therefore a lot of profit taking today due to Russia.
I think you need to read posts properly before posting about them.
Only 5.8% down now. Should be far less by close of play.

IAG has got recovery play written all over it today.
Same with CCL.
Both rocketed up due to Omicron fading in the last weeks............
Both have dropped 7% ish earlier today due to.......... profit taking. Many a lot UP of couse due to the massive sp rises. All makes sense. If your up 15% why not cash in?
Now they have taken profits the sp's are undervalued as Omicron is still fading and the travel industry is taking off!. All very logical and obvious.

The drop here is totally understandable. Profit taking as the sp rocketed up to £1.76 ish.
However by the same token it should recover quickly as even if Russia invades Ukraine it's not going to stop the recovery in the travel industry, especially for a world wide Co. like IAG.

The market should be focused on the massive increase in travel mainly due to Omicron fading and holiday bookings though the roof.
By close today the market hopefuly will have worked that one out.
