It was put down to the Immatics press announcement that 1 of their cancer drug trials had moved from phase 1b to phase 2 I think. They are using Angle's Parsortix machine in 3 of their trials as already comfirmed by Angle.

Why are Myriad Genetics considering adding CTC analysis (from a std blood sample) to their already established comprehensive cancer tumor tissue analysis? Maybe they are a bit daft?

Just because Angle Plc have possibly the only machine in the entire World that can catch live, intact, uncontaminated CTC's that are pure enough for DNA analysis, what does that matter? Why bother identifying more cancer patients for targeted treatment?

Put Parsortix in the skip and move on??

That seems to be what the likes of Astrazeneca want as they do not invest. They want someone else to pay.

Following the 56% gain was it, last week? Clearly there are (as always with AGL!) a raft of possibilities, any one of which could zoom the sp North. So Illumina, Astrazeneca, Immatics, Myriad Genetics, Eisai, the UK's NHS etc... etc..... We know Angle have had dealings with all these and more. One would have thought AGL will get a bit of luck at some point !!!!!!!!! The old CEO had no luck at all.

By say 30%, and commit to buying far more shares than the last time maybe a less drastic placing might get shareholder backing? Of course we don't know how sales have gone over the last several weeks although I have little confidence in the sales team at GDR.

And lab about two months ago. Angle wants the NHS to add "dual analysis" to their existing CtDna analysis which I think is done by Grail. I believe it would be using the Illumina assay that Angle helped develop for lung cancer. The assay is designed to find cancer biomarkers. Dual analysis enables about twice the number of biomarkers CtDna can alone.

How can the analysis of a tumour sample cut out hours, days, weeks on even months ago be more up to date than analysing any circulating tumour cells found in a blood draw done a few hours ago? How can an old solid tissue sample be considered more up to date?

To me it is totally and utterly ridiculous that the industry does NOT already look for and analyse circulating tumour cells in tandem with solid tumour tissue when testing a cancer for, well, anything. Using parsortix the DNA analysis of CTC's it can be done NOW. The industry needs to WAKE UP and use this tech. It is a disgrace it is not yet standard practice.

Status is what I suspect. Trying to find cancer biomarkers in a solid cancer tumour sample is known to give varying results sometimes conflicting depending on what part of the sample is tested! Would you believe this is the current "gold standard"!! Well, it occurs to me it is very old fashioned and probably became the "gold standard" decades ago because there was no alternative! Also any tissue sample is always going to be older than a blood sample which can be just hours old rather than many hours, days, weeks or even months with solid tissue.

Immatics are using Parsortix in 3 cancer drug trials. One wonders if they know something other companies don't, or use simple logic to come to the obvious conclusion CTC's have up to date information compared to solid tissue samples which are much older.

Myriad Genetics have been comparing the DNA analysis of CTC's (provided by Angle Plc using the Parsortix machine) with the DND analysis of solid tissue for a few months now. Applying A.I to this comparison may find a breakthrough................

Machine in enough numbers or make substantial money from its use in Angle's labs in nothing short of criminal negligence. How on Earth can you have a Word class machine, in many respects actually the best in the entire World and not make a profit? This machine can catch LIVE, INTACT, UNCONTAMINATED circulating tumour cells from a standard blood draw. This makes them perfect for DNA analysis, something that is becoming more and more relevant. This must be the marketing failure of the century. Somehow Angle have managed to have contracts, and work with the following Companies and STILL not get a major deal. Illumina, Astrazeneca, Eisai, Immatics and Myriad Genetics to name but a few. How did the "sales" team manage it? It is breathtaking. I hope the problem was the old CEO, Andrew Newland who was shown the door by a major shareholder about 6 weeks ago. One hopes new management will transform Angle's fortunes. They have a shed load of huge possibilities here for a raft of major deals. Once a few drop it will snowball IMHO. If anyone has any doubts about Parsortix then you only have to look at Illumina's endorsement for "dual analysis" that Angle and illumina have jointly promoted, and the fact the Immatics are using Parsortix in 3 of their cancer drug trials, one in phase 2 and one in phase 3.
