Erm... because the sp is ridiculously low, valuing the whole of IAG at £5.6 Billion.
in issue 4,971,000,000 x 1.1382 = £5,657,992,299 (market cap).
In February the sp went to £1.74p making the market cap;-
4,971,000,000 x £1.74 = £8,649,540,000.
£8,649,540,000 - £5,657,992,299 = £2,992,547,701 so just the THREE BILLION £ difference!

The truth is out there, one hopes!! How daft!

Although having said that IAG to me sticks out a mile due to the RNS on the 13th about their expected £1 billion profit for the 3rd quarter. I mean at least that is good financial information in writing in the form of an RNS. What more could you ask for FFS! And the rsults are NEXT FRIDAY. It's tear your own hair out time!!!

Well, put it this way. All the shares on my screen are in the red, and have been nearly all day.
A change to pick up a bargain or two if you want to look on the bright side!
I would pick CCL, IAG, PFC, RR. and WIZZ for possibly a quick profit.

IAG already posted the RNS on 13th October to say their profit for the 3rd quarter is expected to be around a billion £. Has the market forgotten that already? Apparently, yes!
