Assuming your figures are correct the debt is now 3 fold what it was when the sp was £37.
So very very roughly £37 divided by 3 is £12.33 a share, Of course we are not back to full capacity etc.. Sounds about right to me. We are @ £7 a share.........
At least this is some sort of very rough yardstick for the sp!

about three things.
1. Covid returning.
- No sign of a problem to date.
2. Debt.
- CCL have managed to borrow a load of new cash and put back some loan repayment dates....... the market seems fairly happy.
3. Customers returning.
- The customers have returned. The fact that many are retired people with plenty of cash helps a lot.

So the sp was £35 ish before covid. Taking off the new debt I wonder where the sp should be?
I fancy it is a long way North of £7.00. I guess more like £15 a share.

Unless, I suppose they make an extremely low offer and get away with it, which seems unlikely.
The market is very quick at re-valuing Companies to more like their true value as soon as an offer is tabled................ unfortunately!

Well, if you want an indication of the managements confidence in how IAG are doing then this article which says "IAG has indicated that it could use its cash liquidity of €13 billion to look at more acquisitions." says it all.

I find it totally baffling that any IAG share holder would even consider selling after those results. Clearly we have a lot more buyers than sellers but as I say any one who sells now to me needs their head examined.

I'm thinking the sp will be moving up......... the shorting Co's presumably think so as nealy all have reduced their short positions. In any event as long as Covid remains subdued all the airlines IMHO will be recovering more and more meaning their sp's will follow. Seems pretty obvious.

The big news is it seems the whole airline industry is reporting strong demand still. One presumes this is because almost no-one could fly for about what....... 2 years was it? Pent up demand for holidays but more than that. Many people who have family members in other countries like to visit once in a while and I'm sure the catch up on that is still playing out.
As far as I can see the airline shares have come back to only about where they were before the last UK Pm's disasterous "mini budget" so there is a way to go yet.
IMHO WIZZ will be more like £19 a share within weeks and JET2 over the 920p that it was.
As far as IAG is concerned the market will be confident because the results were just last Friday.
I see the sp rising to 124p or so this week. Then hopefully it will move back to the next level which, on the way down was about 142p.
