The Autumn statement IMHO has pushed the sp down a tad so good time to buy this morning. So I did.

The thing with that RNS yesterday is it causes uncertainty as we await the news the offer has been taken up (or not, which would be extraordinary). So assuming the private offer is taken up the sp should recover somewhere between the £7.09 now and the £8.41 is was yesterday. No doubt an expert could tell it will be £7.50 or something. We will be finding out.......

I must admit the 14% drop in the sp seems to disagree but that is basically what the following article says!
Maybe the market will have a re-think and put the sp up the 14% it has lost plus another 5% or so!

Companies like CCL and indeed IAG are World-wide and so Hunt's statement will not affect them as much as, for example Marks and Spencers who have very little business outside the UK.
A lot of CCL's business is in the USA and as we know they appear to be dealing with their inflation problem quite well so far.

These people will be holidaying and visiting loved ones all over the World, as they were put off for the last ***TWO YEARS***, were they not??? Totally and utterly obvious.
I don't see how it is even possible that these facts won't be having a significant effect on the Airline industry.
Anyone who thinks it won't needs their head examined IMHO.
