Angle Plc. How long do Circulating tumour cells last in your8 Sep 2024 14:51
Blood? From the WWW:-
"Circulating tumour cells, or CTCs, are cells that are shed from tumours into the bloodstream. After release from tumours, most CTCs die in the circulation (in ~1–2.5 h) owing to mechanical forces or immune system attack.".

So, these CTC's are "fresh" from a tumour somewhere. It seems to me being able to catch 99% live and intact samples of these CTC's using Angle's Parsortix machine and analyse them is extremely highly likely to reveal the current state of the cancer. Be it HER2 positive, HER2 negative, HER2 low, PD-L1 level etc... Companies doing cancer research should be falling over each other in the rush to employ Angle to test these CTC's.
I have a feeling they will be in due course.
All IMHO.
