Easy to assume now the likes of Astrazeneca are starting to use liquid biopsies to monitor cancer drug trial participants responses there is plenty of capacity! I think NOT. In fact, this ability is extremely rare. This is a major point I just realised to be honest. As far as I know Angle are the only Company in the World, that is in the entire World that offer dual CtDna and CTC analysis of the same tube of blood. Big pharma starting to utilise liquid biopsies is seismic.

Maybe they have turned the corner and are not losing money anymore. Just involvement in one cancer drug trial with say 500 participants would sort it. Say 3 tubes of blood (before trial, during and after) = 1500 tubes @ $2,000 = $3,000,000. Nuff said? That would be just ONE drug trial. What if Astra want them to do half a dozen, or be involved in every cancer drug trial they do? Astra are now using liquid biopsies during trials as they said yesterday.

Corner the market by buying Angle and aggressively promoting dual analysis which they have already worked with Angle on. As far as I know Angle are around 12 months ahead of the market. Also, they have Parsortix which is the best system for catching the live intact circulating cancer cells (CTC's) to analyse. At the moment other systems to catch the CTC's are inferior. Either the cells are dead, contaminated with antibodies, or swamped with white blood cells. Without Parsortix they would struggle to compete. I don't think they could.

During cancer drug trials (about time too), and Angle having developed their "dual analysis" with Illumina they could hardly be in a better position. The only doubt in whether Mr Newland and his sales team can get their act together IMHO.

Either a lie, or bought very recently? My money would be on a lie in view of TwoGoods posts in the last few years. My guess, bought £1500 @ say 11p or something along those lines. Not to be trusted at all to say the least IMHO.
