The nominated judge i seem to remember was ONLY to decide whetyher SG was entitled to take legal action, and it seems he agreed that they could... IF THEY WANTED TO...

Below is rteported from the FINANCIAL REPORT of the last few days Our position remains that Slater & Gordon�s allegations of deceit and the associated breach of warranty claim are wholly without merit and should never have been advanced. The SFO investigation continues and we are cooperating fully. It remains the only regulatory inquiry to which the Group is subject. There have been no further developments at this stage on the threatened (but not commenced) class action litigation first announced in September 2015.

On the other hand I am really not sure about SG's conduct so far... They have been THREATENING court action but not commenced it.... that is a HUGE mistake in their part. If they had a strong case they should have just gone to court, without any need of SFO's findings... If their case is strong enough SG should be able to defeat both WTG and take on whatever conclusion SFO's comes up with... If SG's case is not strong enough they should have just kept quiet and wait for the SFO's conclusions if this is what they need... HOWEVER having publicly threatened WTC, SG have exposed themselves to a claim of damages and loss of income and reputation from WTG.

Grumpy, the SFO is fully aware of how damaging a PURPOSEFUL delay is to companies in their enquiries. So it is very unlikely the SFO si delaying their enquiry on the matter... So why SFO needs more time to come to their conclusions?... this is what makes us investors apprehensive, because if it all was clear cut as WTG affirms surely the SFO would have already reached their conclusions.

to be honest I have been to some of these evenings - and if they have something like 5 (FIVE!!!) companies presenting they are just too many to absorb what is really going on...to have this many speakers it should start at least at 4:30 pm... Cramming in so many is not good... I only go to evenings when they have no more than 3 companies presenting.

uk economy view is a positive one, Crawshaw's customers are still all out there and ready to return - there are dozens of strategies to get your old customers back in and these are all well known to those in the business - Crawshaw's needs hardworking committed people to make it happen - it's all possible. Plenty of real capable people out there would love to chance to prove their worth as a Ceo ....

I am glad to see the CEO and CFO walking out... It might be for good reasons or wrong reasons, depending where your preferences lies. But the point is with them leaving it is last chance Crawshaw has to turn things around... It is not impossible, all they've got to do is to go back to what they were doing well before the shops expansion. But that is easy said than done

Walking down Chancery Lane (London) this evening to a start up event I was shocked to see S &G in big letters in front of me.... Wow, the S&G headquarters!!!.... Having had so much from S&G on this board since they entered into TWG life I felt compelled to go in and ask the reception if I could talk with any directors/managers there who could give me any lights on what is going on between S&g and TWG - he said everybody had left for the day

grumpy, all the cards OF THE PROCESS are in S&F hands because they are the claimants and hypothetically they could give up the claim any time they wish...

S&G might have cornered themselves... can you just IMAGINE what will happen to their share price if the SFO says no fraud has been committed?... can you imagine S&G having to tell their shareholders they were wrong to pursue this action?... On the other hand they got inveigled in this so much that it might be impossible to just drop it and have no choice to go to the ultimate conclusions?... It's the worst thing when you put yourself in a position that you got to fight a blattle you cannot win and that you have no way out but battle and lose

thanksgrumpy and marsh... an undeclared who winks first game is played here, as an outsider's impression it seems to be between the SFO and S&g and unlikely to be TWG... all the cards are in S&g hands (when and if to take the case to court)... All TWG can do is wait and be ready, prepared and determined to fend off any attacks

well, there are imaginative ways of holding evidence perfectly legal

Now it might well be that in this investigation either or both SGH and TWG are telling the fraud office i can only deliver you some evidence or give you an answer to some of your requests AFTER the court case to avoid weakening my case... so this would pause the SFO from proceeding until the court case, if it ever happens... HOWEVER as claimant is up to, and in the interest of SGH to speed proceedings. BUT they have not done it so far...

Grumpy, keeping to your factual line, the claim has gone ahead... the barrister found grounds on which gsh could claim... However what is suppositional and bewildering, both for WTG and SGH pis, is f there was good ground for SGH's claim why are they not calling WTG to court already...keeping this matter going on and on has been ruinous to both sets of pis - AND to the companies both... These are the facts - - let's stop supposing this or that

it looks like manipulation is going on and DX will be bought soon at this price a huge value bargain for the buyer (at our expenses of course)... If no buy out occurs we got to pressure the removal of directors as soon as possible... I'd hve thought they would have had the decency to resign by now
