Can you provide more information on why you think that SBTX lacks proven science? The lysate has undergone scientific validation, which is why Croda was eager to make a deal with them.

It may not be wise to rely solely on the peer review process, as not all scientific work undergoes this type of review. Additionally, some individuals feel that the peer review process has been influenced by certain groups and ideologies, leading to a lack of objectivity. As a result, a group of over 12000 scientists have established their own peer review database. However, even with these efforts, there are still instances where individuals with significant influence, such as Bill Gates, are able to remove founding members from the process. The guy is evil.

This funding is a positive development for OPTI as it allows them to maintain their cash reserves in the bank while financing the procurement of raw materials from their manufacturing partners, including Cambridge Commodities and Maxums, to mention a few. OPTI will need to conserve funds for the upcoming SweetBiotix launch, which I anticipate will occur as a soft launch sometime this year. Although a rumour landed in my inbox suggesting it will land this week. God loves a trier ;)

The big question is how quickly OPTI receive royalties from their partners once they have received the prebiotics.

SBTX PI's can now breathe easier knowing that Thors' hammer has been put away for the foreseeable future. This should give them the confidence to stake-build ahead of any news from the company. We are aware that the company has several projects in progress, and we eagerly await news on the Croda project, which is not expected until 2024. In the meantime, we can hope for partnerships in the other four pillars, a possible multi-national partnership for AxisBiotix, or M&A activity, which has been ongoing for about eight months.

So, good news all round.

SOH has since clarified his plan for raising working capital. When investors asked me a few questions, I decided to share my hypothesis to see if it would spark any insights.

I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall if either SA or SOH read the post with my hypothesis. The timing was purely confidential, entirely based on a question to me regarding my instance over the past weeks, hence my post and breakdown.

The deed is done now. SBTX needs some positive news to test interest now OPTI's funding is out of the way for another year, if needed.

I have made certain assumptions that trades at 500k and above are not traders, but possibly shares placed with OPTI's trading broker. From Feb I have calculated 5.2 million shares have been sold.

These include;

3x 601,567 - 2.02.23

1m - 6.06.23

500k - 15.06.23

1m - 10.07.23

1m - 25.07.23

500k - 26.07.23

Do not include other larger trades of 100k or 2 x191,254 or 3 x70k within the period I have been looking at.

This is all guesswork at this state.

Investing in a startup that is venturing into uncharted scientific territory in the skincare industry demands a lot of patience. In fact, I strongly believe that any investor who is daring enough to put their money in such a company must have a good understanding of themselves, since the journey can be quite tumultuous, with timelines that often take a turn for the worse. This has been evident in the cases of OPTI and SBTX, for various reasons.

I have said this before - Croda is worth investing in SBTX on its own; any additional partnership via the other pillars is a bonus, and any of these could be transformational. The grass is greener culture can find it is scorched.

Aquae has already elaborated on my previous comment. I apologise for not being more specific. I assumed you were already aware, given your presence before the launch. I hope my old grey hasn't failed me.

I think it is worth labouring another point, as it hangs over SBTX as Thors' hammer. If anyone were to sift through the SBTX trades, they would see a few large sales that add up to roughly 5 million, more or less. However, we have yet to receive a TR1. If and when we do, I hope it will state that OPTI has utilised the SBTX ATM to obtain additional funding for its growth. I am not complaining now because it makes more sense for OPTI to sell SBTX rather than their own, especially considering the EIS status that presents a few issues for OPTI. I must confess that I have not given this much thought in my previous rants on this topic.

SOH has mentioned that SBTX shares are the preferred way to raise funds, which I think has been in progress for some time now. Indeed, SOH has stated that he has placed x shares with a trading account for this purpose. I, therefore, assume (although it may be dangerous) that OPTI has found a home for 5 million shares. If I am correct (and I admit it is hard to say for sure), I would argue that SBTX investors can breathe a little easier knowing that OPTI may have wrapped up their funding round for the foreseeable future. I know from discussions with some people that they are waiting on firm news before adding to a depressed share price.

This leads me to your point about PR, Nick. On Saturday, I shared my hypothesis with Stuart that if I am correct, it would be a good idea to give investors a bonus to turn the negative trend into a positive one and move us off the floor. I should note that Stuart did not comment on this or suggest that there was anything to announce. My main point concerns OPTI sales, assuming they have taken place. Yes, we have not owned the previous 1 million shares, and SOH has stated OPTI has not been dumping SBTX shares.

I thus contend until we do get a TR1, I am looking a bit of a conspiracy chump.
