Ouch NAL, that was brutal!

I am the un-researched clown who is guessing that Twiggy would love another opportunity to kick BHP in the goolies. I have never claimed to an expert, and I accept that I am an amateur.

Hi Bozi, I think it's FMG because they know cascabel, and they are looking to get into copper. Yep, so are a lot of other companies, but I think FMG will not be able to resist kicking BHP.

I share your frustration with the current state of play with Solg, and I expected more from Scott after he took the trouble of calling out previous management.

I am left to accept the possibility that we are not hearing any news because they are busy working on those things which will become news. I am reassured because we have a tier 1 and we are not like some other company with no deposit, but carrying out raise after raise. It won't be long , the agm will be here and we can vote against the people who are not performing.

I was going to predict that Bozi would be along to fly the negativity flag, but that would have been provocative:)

I'll make a prediction: I predict that 90% of the posts on this BB this week will be negative with experts extolling why nothing good will happen here because the SP is currently low.

I don't recall them posting negativity when the SP was touching 41p back in 2022. I think the minute the SP tanks, thanks to DC funding failure, out they come with their negative prognostications!

Given that we don't know who the suitor is who is at the heart of the current rumour, let us predict who it is so that we can identify the true experts in the event that the rumour becomes a reality!

Bozi, the companies I am negative about doesn't have a tier 1. Arc doesn't even have a resource estimate after 5 years. As for PRE, the leader couldn't organise a p I s s up in a brewery. Heck, he couldn't even pick a suitable site for his plant. I am positive that they will end in disaster. Solg is way ahead of all of them in that we have a tier 1. Lots of delays here, but I am confident we will get there in the end unless Perez nationalise our assets. Reasons enough to be positive I think.

Given the tone here, anything you say would be pounced on with extreme negativity. It amazes me why folks who professed to be shareholders are always without failure leaning towards the negative, expend a great deal of energy to find reasons why nothing good will happen here. Anyone would think we do not have a tier 1 asset!

If you do know, is the interested party North American, European, Chinese, or Aussies? It would be interesting to know.

Folks, I can appreciate the doubts surrounding the rumour. After all, this is solg which has been up for sale longer than many of us care to remember. The rumour is coming from multiple sources, and I have always believed that there is no smoke without fire. The old investment mantra, buy on rumour, sell on news is what I am sticking to here. Lets face it, we have a tier 1, majors are looking to transition to energy metals, and Uncle Sam has declared copper strategic, a corporate action is inevitable.

I can imagine NAL that it would be pretty annoying to have hard working folks footing the bills while others are on the beach, or busy throwing shrimps on barbies!

Peace! You should know that a poster on twitter has also confirmed the rumour which you previously mentioned. Seeing another source to the rumour certainly adds legs to the rumour so to speak.

I saw that horrible news item regarding the lady and her brain surgery. I did not appreciate just how dangerous life in Aus is!

NAL, I think everyone knows that a rumour may or may not become factual.

I think had you restated the rumour this morning instead of mentioning gullibility, you would have remained consistent.

Sadly NAL, my mom passed away in 2021, one day before her 92nd birthday. It would mean the world to me to still have her here with us still scolding me like her little boy. It's funny, no matter how tall I grew, she still saw me as her little boy.

I was writing my post about EV while your post was published. I do know that waterproofing would be one of the safety requirements, ie to prevent water shorting the battery pack.

Add, understable warning if the EV makers haven't taken precautions to waterproof their vehicles by preventing water from short circuiting the EV battery packs.
