Been onto Fidelity and have discovered that you need to register with what they call Broardrige to register votes and that you have to turn this on by - clicking on the Profile tab at the top of the page, on the drop down tab click on shareholder voting & information, then turn the option on, you then get a ID number

i was then told that I will receive email in the next couple of days from Broardrige as conformation and then I will be able to vote

from what I read on here Hargreaves Lansdown seems a hell of a lot easier :(
