Cannacord Genuity have today increased their broker note from speculative buy to buy at 110p. That is 3 brokers now projecting plus £1. All encouraging with an average at £1.20.

It defies gravity Rev. Look at all those continuous buys between mid morning and now and all at 57p. You would have thought that the price would have steadily risen over the past 2 hours. Can anyone on here explain it to me ?

I agree Planterman. The Institutional Investors are not really aboard as yet. This year they cannot ignore ELA anymore particularly when the production increases by over 100%

I disagree. The previous RNS stated that they expected to commence work over and side track of Opuama 7 by end of H1 and now they state "well before end of H1". This will add 6000 barrels per day. Gbetiokun worker over due the send half of the year to add a further 7800. Still plenty of cash in the bank with $8.5m monitisation due soon from the production and delivery since last RNS. I am holding and still expect £1 per share by Summer.

Agreed Revbeechy. I have sold my remaining Amerisur shares today and topped up. Too much good news around the corner and long term. I am now a big holder here and have supported this company for years and am, at last ahead. Not giving this up cheaply. Roll on next News.

Definitely looking at end of second quarter Forcadas reopening. I am a bit surprised that we haven't had an RNS confirming restart of barging this week but maybe due early next week and they are more than likely shipping now anyway. Helios have an agreement in place with the ELA board that 29% is their maximum shareholding. The company will remain independent for the time being but will attract bigger fish as the development proceeds and if and when the Nigerian Political situation improves. Well Panmure Gordon have just lifted it to £1.20 buy from 95p which is a significant upgrade and fits in with your valuation. Our patience has been rewarded here folks but credit to the board for instigating the alternative transport route which was vital. Don't forget, trading volumes are still low here with ELA still appearing to be below the radar with very little Institutional Investment interest so far. That will change

This is now a real momentum play. We have hit the sweet spot at ELA with even the oil price helping. This will hit north of £1 by Summer and hopefully a lot more by year end.

Well you maybe right but PG and CF have now both graded this at over £1 which is encouraging and reflects, I think, the change in the circumstances over the past month. Bring it on. Peel Hunt due next ?
