KAV's latest RNS is interesting. KAV is also 'special' as it is main market listed. Their LSE board provides much of interest.

From 30th Aug RNS it seems like the core shown in figure 3 of todays RNS (380-391m) hasn't been assayed.

I am surprised Brett has gone to Botswana to supervise the sampling and logging. I think both Brett and Steve Smith have been to Ditau since the core was extracted - would they not have examined the core then? Are they looking for something very specific now? Obviously it is best to get as much info as possible from already extracted core, but is there more to Brett's Botswana visit than appears? Perhaps he is hoping to be able to persuade the diamond company to produce the drill core that they have from the area?

I may have missed something, but I didn't get the impression of a KSZ spin out as such. I thought the different projects were probably going into their own companies under KAV's ownership. This could then be used to allow direct investment into the projects.

I wonder if VulcanBob attended the AGM. Perhaps using one of his other names?

I don't think grapite would be economical in that location or at the depths we are talking about, so I suspect you would be disappointed if it was graphite (assuming you are invested). KAV say the conductance is typical for massive sulpides and are obviously hoping that is what they hit when they drill the conductor.

I'm not any wiser but I have seen some very high conductance readings that were drilled and weren't massive sulphides, I think at least one was graphite, but I believe that is the less likely outcome. From my little understanding I think the time domain aspect of the TDEM can give you some indication of chargeability. I THINK Richard Hornsey alluded to trying to distinguish between potential Nickel and other conductors such as graphite using the notion of chargeability . This may be somthing KAV are still working on.

What exploration methods would you use to try to gain as much confidence as possible that it wasn't graphite? Obviously drilling is the final test, but is there other geophysics that you think KAV could/should do?

I believe VulcanBob is probably the same character that told someone you couldn't be CEng without a good degree - they were named on another board.
I am not trying to defend CB but I do find this character rather interesting. Someone suggested my research wasn't up to scratch so I'm polishing up on it.

In the latter half of 2021 shareholders wanted to hear from Mike Moles. BT said this would happen but it never did. Obviously there are many potential reasons why it didn't happen and I do not have any info to make an educated guess. I never liked BT and Jeremy Brett's explanation of the potential for B1. To me they always put forward a comparison of items measured in different units - conductance and conductivity. It seemed a bit like saying you were decelerating so couldn't possibly have been over the speed limit. Both higher conductance and higher conductivity are good but I don't think a direct comparison is valid unless you consider a lot of other parameters.
