I think you will find I was accused of misinformation when I posted that the ARCM mining licence was no more and that the directors 'surrendering' their options was not a good sign. Since then we have had news of multiple court cases and no sale of CASA. I have continued to post my great research including the fact that millions of CASA liabilities don't appear to be shown in the accounts. Please do your own research in order to make your own investment decisions but please do not imply that I post misinformation.

I wonder if any of the major mining companies are in Cape Town this week. It was originally the week planned for the mining Indaba.

I agree the timeline does seem a little optimistic but from the AFP RNS this morning it seems that management are going to visit some operating plants in Africa. I assume there will be more news to come out of Africa in the next couple of weeks and perhaps Fairbride really is imminent. I assumed the last update was lacking due to the likelihood that LTH would just shrug their shoulders at a more comprehensive update. I assumed we would get an update when it would be more convincing. Fingers crossed.

At least KAV didn't come back after the Christmas break to a buried drill. From the previous forum

'I spoke to FreeWest recently because I can't get hold of Peter Smith. FWR told me that the reason they opted to drill elsewhere whether than the Great Red Spot (GRS) is get the most bangs for the buck. Falconbridge who also have interest on the GRS (majority of the GRS is on FWR/FNM's property) and was drilling in December. While the dill is on the ground, they took off during Christmas holiday. By the time the crew return, the drill got burried by drifting sand or something. Falconbridge had to abandon the drill and has not return. I would have made the same decision with the limited budget that FNM has at the time if I were in charge. It is unfortunate that it ended up this way. The fundamentals are still there and I have to wait a bit longer...'

CB was in Namibia for BZT. I just wondered if he had been found a tour. Andy tells me he was in Cape Town in the last BZT interview. Perhaps he has already been to Zambia and is now whiling away some time in SA before going on to cut the ribbon on Fairbride? :-)

Not many people have heard about it but it's often referred to as google :-).
I find it interesting as it can be a reflection of similar anxieties years later. I was trying to find info on the previous GRS drills and the discussions on historic boards tend to be quite a good indicator of things happening at the time. We already know from BT's comments and the original 2018 Kav prospectus that drilling can be difficult in this area. There is probably a better board available but I haven't found it.

The following is discussion from the time Fancamp were drilling the KSZ. Apparently they went back to the authorities to get the rights to any diamonds before drilling in the area.

I thought you would have been more observant ;-).

I am surprised at the relatively sustained rise here. With multiple court cases and arbitration only starting next month I will be surprised if this doesn't drop back significantly. In my opinion considering AA's previous legal history in Zambia they are unlikely to touch this with ongoing legal battles. I struggle to see any major touching this at the moment considering these legal cases have already prevented exploration for part of last season.

What is going on? All CB's companies seem to be well up today. Has he been to some event or had some other media coverage?

Kiwara were exploring a totally different type of deposit but obviously XTR shareholders are hoping CB can monetise Bushranger in a similar way . I found it interesting reading the historic share chat forum for Kiwara (available via ADVFN). There aren't that many posts so doesn't take that long to skim read them.

The following sounds promising
'The target occurs within an area of historic copper soil anomalism and altered porphyritic intrusives which could have similarities to the Racecourse deposit setting'.
There has been limited exploration in this area so it may take a couple of holes to hit anything significant.

Yes, I had overlooked Molopo Farms. Even if we don't get a decision on the option this week we may well get some feedback on the work they have been doing.

I think KAV is likely to issue at least 4 pieces of info this week
1. Brett Grist is to receive options but the number hasn't been announced yet. From the Nov RNS
'The Options will be granted on these terms on the day Mr Grist's employment begins, or, if later, when there is sufficient headroom within the Company's limit for executive options of ten per cent of the issued share capital.'
2. Info on completion of the current drill but no-one is really interested in that ;-).
3. Further news on Ditau targets.
4. Issue of equity to Mindea. As far as I can see we haven't had an RNS yet for issue of equity to Mindea. I would be surprised if this doesn't happen in the period where they are moving the drill to Ditau. The initial contract will have only been for drilling the KSZ. I guess they could have gone for annual payment but that seems unlikely.

CB hasn't specifically mentioned drilling footrot recently but I think it may be the 3rd porphyry he discussed. I would like to see footrot drilled but there are so many potential areas of interest it is difficult to know where they will draw the line.
