@ChrisEngland - thank you for providing the intraday data and other external sources relating to BOO. I think the MM's are manipulating the SP and keeping it down since consistently higher volumes of buys vs sells combined with the very narrow spread (0.08), knowing that it's due a rise. What's your take on that?
All in all a positive day, we're up 0.23% despite many ftse stocks being red.
Onwards and upwards boys
@jackdog
Neither one single RI, nor arguably all of our combined shares on this BB, can noticeably bring down the SP of a 3B market cap company any substantial amount. Whilst all sides of the debate are welcome (this is a pubic BB and not a club of yes men), it's important we don't give rise to trolls with no rationale to back up their points. Ignore them and they'll be the ones missing out on the ride
got another small top up planned for tomorrow. Got another lined up in case of a drop below 250 but seeing that as increasingly unlikely as the momentum gains. Planning on selling in chunks starting @ 390. GL all tomorrow, let's make some money
Boohooman in particular is extremely popular with the younger generation. Being more junior than the majority of you on here, i can confirm that the UK scene is riddled with boohoo purchases. I, friends and brothers all regularly purchase from Boohooman and in fact i'm wearing some of their new shorts today (despite being long) hahaha onwards and upwards boys.
@senortoro
You're not wrong, i'm just concerned that the progress we've made could be leading us into another march-style drop. It's a constant war of wanting to stay semi liquid in case of a further drop and wanting to catch these post lockdown gains. Whatever the weather i hope it results in us making some good money, GL all tomorrow
@buggerthebanks
since posting that original question i did check their q1 reports and the report did mention that they expect production to be on the back end of expectations for the rest of the year. Question is does the rise in gold and other PM's circumvent the lower production rates. I've been in the share no more than a week and banked 16% profit on an albeit small holding, so debating on whether to cash out and look for a buy back in after the next set of results. Think that may be a probable scenario
@saint
I'm talking about the EU summit, not the USA stimulus relief or any testing measures. No doubt the fed will be printing left right and centre until at least the November elections. I predict an initial drop because of the failed summit talks and a rebound later in the day @ around 250 close! hope i cleared everything up
may be leaning towards waiting a little before jumping in. Primarily because of EU summit meeting and the failure between the states to agree on the coronavirus relief package. Unlikely to directly affect the micro of BOO, but may add to the already tumultuous period of macro economic uncertainty - something to think about
market opens at 8 sir. Also, it depends whether you think you'll get a better deal on a potential drop at 9 or if you think it'll carry on rising from 8 onwards. Always try and make your own valuations, hope that helps
RBM, welcome back, nice pompous response. Just to remind you that you don’t own the public BB. If I feel like responding to certain people then I have the right to do that, even if they’re trolling. (:
Because everything is temporary sir. Time is a unit of relativity. Even if we're in a bear market for the entirety of 2020, BOE prospects for 2021 indicate respectable economic growth even with their conservative estimates. I'm comparatively new to the investment world, much newer than you and probably most others on this BB, however one maxim that applies to the investment world, and the world alone, is that patience is key - Rome wasn't built in a day;).
I'm off out for an evening (Lawrence) stroll, auf wiedersehen.
'Shorterguy', the irony of you stating that someone else is clutching at straws (correct idiom) is wholly ironic considering that the only basis you and all the other shorters have for the drop is because the SP is following the temporarily bearish global trend.
