Primerdesign kit is the Gold standard, NHS Staff and patients deserve the best we ( Government ) can give them.
You would think after the CDC debacle that lesson would have been learned, when your house is on fire the hose doesn't want to have holes in it.

Nobody wants another CDC Testing Kit BU on there hands, it set the USA back weeks and cost lives.
I would imagine we have more sense and the kit will be tested to the highest degree for use and accuracy so not an issue as yet as we head into our Boom moment, stay safe.

Everybody is going to be hyping there solution and justifiably so, but in times of crisis you go with what you know and the kit and science that sits behind it.
An F1 Team can change a tyre in seconds but at what cost, equipment and training but most tyres get changed in minutes and that seems perfectly reasonable, it's not all about speed, would 45 minutes or 2 hours make any difference with C19 when we have been hearing of waits in days.
