The speed and transmissibility of Corona 19 is frightening it's becoming more obvious by the day that you have to keep people from swamping the Health system, the only way is to Test so you can isolate those that are showing symptoms, slow the spread and free up beds in the Hospitals / Triage Centres.

This incompetent Government is doing all it can to deflect the blame for their lack of action on testing as the body count mounts, dont believe a word.

I can only think testing becomes more important once we are pass the " Wacamole " bit , not everybody but anybody turning up with symptoms so can keep the lid on the Pot & its a big Pot.

Hate to point out the obvious, but UK has not embarked on the testing campaign because it would rapidly become apparent that we do not have the capacity. That would then lead to awkward questions about the wisdom of running down a country’s health service.

Far better to divert with Dunkirk, mass volunteer campaigns and hand clapping nonsense. Meanwhile our loved ones that work in the NHS are being sent like lambs to the slaughter without protective gear.

The other side of this is the manufacturing and supply given the huge disruption to Air travel and Shipping, to have a company producing these test on your doorstep puts you has Government in a very fortunate position.
When DT blows off and say's all our production is needed in the USA, the Abbott's and other manufacturers will do as they are told, we saw it with India and there pharmaceuticals.
