Discussing war here I would say is actually relevant. Gold is judged as a safe haven asset so in theory impact of war should boost gold price which will boost Ggp. Yep so if it’s a shipment of $30m, kod in effect has revenue worth $9.55m ie KMUK gets 65 per cent and then kod’s share is worth 49 per cent of that. It gets paid to KMUK as JV so kod in itself won’t receive that, but gets paid to the JV. Makes sense?

The good news is if Bernie does want to sell some of the goldfield, we are again close to record highs in the gold price. Seems to have alluded to either JV or selling off during comments made in the recent interview.

Yep also agree to an extent, the quality of the businesses seem to be good. The best ones for me are Cameramatics and Vizgard. Napster I’m unsure of. But if Cameramatics and Vizgard get sold at some point I’m confident this will mean a huge cash inflow. What the board do with it I don’t know. Either dividends or share buy backs I guess. But can all agree the current market cap is a joke.

Yep realisations surely have to come soon. People are starting to lose their patience. Really we should be getting realisations every few months considering svv1 was closed 2 years ago I think yes ytee. Realisations simply mean extra cash coming in which will add shareholder value.

I’m not sure MFAI could sell that large a chunk without shareholder approval? I may be wrong though. I’d be surprised if it was MFAI but it is a possibility.

There are a number of green boxes here. Let me guess someone saying Zimbabwe is way better than Mali to invest in etc. anyone investing in Zimbabwe needs their head checked. They want a further slice of the pie for greed. Mali gets it. Yes 35 per cent govt cut for investors isn’t great vs 20 per cent previously. But it’s their lithium and this strikes a fine balance between getting laid fairly for their resources and encouraging investment.

Zimbabwe produced around 10 per cent of lithium globally. So in theory this will give the lithium price a further boost. Should be good for kod but of course some may say that there is a danger Mali follows suit. Personally I don’t see that happening but again it is a possibility. Always good to have balanced views here folks and use the board for a debate…

Would be interested to know that clapa yep. Do you think we will get updated AISC figs anytime soon? Would be good to know as spa figs I think were $750 pt from memory and kod’s old projections were $647 pt.

Tbf I don’t blame SVV for this, they have what looks like a pretty solid contract and Tern can’t pay in what they have signed up to pay in. I’m not sure it will benefit MFAI but we will see in due course.

Tbh Bfd I wouldn’t mess with Clapa, supporters of Middlesbrough and Rangers tend to be hard as nails so I wouldn’t shake the hornets nest. Share price is disappointing here after what Kod has achieved here. I applaud what the team has done but as an investor I am here to make a profit. I do still believe once MRE upgrade is announced Hainan will swoop to buyout but this MRE upgrade is well long overdue which quite frankly has peed me off.
