Yeah it’s definitely brewing. Anyone experienced rough timelines for selling in GIA and buying in ISA? Freetrade don’t do bed and isa annoyingly so I’d imagine about a week for cash to settle and then transfer into isa? Any thoughts appreciated as I’m keen to load up 6th April but don’t have spare cash hence thinking about selling and re buying thanks

It’s been old for ages only king, talking years here not months. And it’s super confusing for investors who are keen to understand more. So no need to get narky…

They really do need to update the website though at some point though as it’s old.

It’s a little confusing re land holding Lav. Website states Kodal has 800km2 which includes 200km2 Bougouni west and 109km2 diendio. We have a license for 97.2km2 as it stands. So can’t quite grasp the 350km2 number. Sure it will come out in the wash.

Ps that’s revenue so would need to take into account costs of operation etc but still good to hear!

Yep exactly, I was surprised at how much gold they think is there (350k Oz). This could be wildly out but even if it’s 50k Oz that’s almost £80m. Who knows…but not as if gold won’t be in demand over the next few years…

Hi Lav, not sure, there’s obviously going to be significant costs involved in getting the gold operation up and running but if they are anywhere near their resource estimate it could generate a decent chunk of revenue. But a load of ifs here, main focus I’m sure will remain on lithium for now and then further down the line in a few years, look to get a proper look into gold, unless we get a decent offer for someone to buy the goldfields of course.

Here is a relatively recent article showing forecast of $4275 per tonne in 2024. Who knows, but the good thing is that even if the prices in this pres are correct, kodal will be making a ton of money!

Ok cheers Daz. Interesting to do a rough calc on what they think we might have in gold. Again this is by no means guaranteed and initial estimates could be wildly out. But if initial resource estimate of 350k Oz, at current gold prices, that is £557m I think?!

I might ask them to explain this unless I’m being stupid?

Anyone a bit confused on slide 6? Says market is in deficit but forecasted below it shows price sliding away, especially when figs were based on $2080 per tonne? Just makes no sense why price would slide away if the market is in deficit??

Yeah for $2m but that’s not a guaranteed sale yet.

True Daz, but our market reflects £0 gold as it stands. No idea how much potential we have, but good to have some as a back up if lithium struggles.

Global shares tumbling in the wider market gold prices have increased due to it being generally safer which is great for Kodal.

6 months build would be amazing. I’m no expert here but that does seem tight no? Especially considering the wet season runs usually June to Sep which surely will make progress slow? But we will see, definitely a v sensible strategy doing a DMS first.

With no news I am expecting 0.38-0.41 range but as we all know news can drop any time. Less than 7 weeks now until the big £££ drops. Bring it on.
