Also, on the likes of 212 you can't place more than 95% of your free funds in a single transaction, so I've had to do a second "top up" later on for a handful of shares. Could be that sort of thing?

It took about 20 mins for my PAT investment to go through this morning. I ended up splitting my purchase into smaller chunks for it to go through (e.g. rather than buy 500 shares, 5x100 share transactions). Might be worth a shot?

I'm certainly looking to hold for another 12 months at least, based on current "knowns" and "known unknowns". The picture looks pretty rosy and de-risked for 2021.

The question is, how do you form an exit strategy for this share beyond then? Some of the numbers being bandied around this board are moving from "wildest dreams" to "plausible reality" territory...

@Hollamatronic - it's not "the rest" - Scally isn't included as part of this JV, for example. I'm sure that these JVs, as well as massively de-risking these 3 locations, will deliver significant shareholder value. Also, at this stage, we don't know how these deals fit in the context of GGP's wider business plan... yet. As others have suggested, there may be some quid pro quo ahead of future JV announcements.

At a very, very high level, if we hit another Tier 1 Newcrest will dig, transport and process ore, extract the minerals and make a tidy profit, with all the associated ongoing Capex etc. GGP will take 25% profit by owning and sharing the licences etc. but without that considerable ongoing Capex - just by sitting on hands waiting for the cash to roll in. That will open up considerably more options for our other exploration sites.

The costs and timeline for GGP to become a miner and ore processor would be huge. In terms of going it alone, the costs associated with doing so and the increased risk, delay would offset a certain amount of additional % profit margin.

Taking 25% profit when your JV partner is doing all of the heavy lifting is a pretty smart move.

We have the "known unknowns" which are well documented (e.g. overdue Scally results - variable around timing and actual results will affect SP), and also the "unknown unknowns" (e.g. the surprise new NE site at Hav announced recently). There are just too many variables at the moment to come up with a number without being accused of either ramping or de-ramping.

IMHO it'll be a higher than it currently is though ;-)
