I see there will be a new FED Chairperson appointed soon. Yellen's track record of low US employment (about 4%) and contained inflation of about 2% means she achieved and delivered on her remit! What course will the next person follow, I wonder? What will trigger a correction on the S&P and DOW indices?

Mulder, be careful with predicting a reversal of a DOW charge upwards. There are informed marketeers predicting a rise to 30,000 as money flows towards the USA, away from places such as Europe. (Weiss in Florida). Then a collapse.... POG will also have its day, but when? As for PAF, all the evidence suggests we have an excellent investment here, certainly over the next 3 years. So I will be buying on the dips and not worried, not even by zwane. I note that zuma is to have his day in court as per NPA. The dominoes will probably fall one by one as most of the senior players in his cabinet are probably all captured. Time will tell but cannot see the mining charter zwane wants imposed.

Gold has fallen off it's perch of $1300. Some speculators say it could still retrace to as low as $1250 or lower before the next massive up-swing! Patience, and time to Top-Up here! Not much more heard from zwane at the moment!

I have just read the days post and thank you, Daisan for your dissection of where we are. I am quietly optimistic that Shanta will perform over the next year. I still worry about the government interference in other mining sectors. That is bad news for investors in Tanzania and indeed in other African countries as well. Looks like debt repayment will be well under control. Just wondering how the market reacted to the ACA reaction, not looked yet?

Agree, its a good wage agreement to conclude. Labour can be the achilles heel in SA!

I note that Blackrock has increased its exposure on ACA to 6%. Does Blackrock know something we are not aware of? The possibility of "good news" and perhaps a deal with the Tanzanian Government? If there is a deal, it would be good for Shanta, imho.

With a RNS like todays and an improved sentiment in PM's, I agree with Anapa69 that 300 is easily achieved with Hochs, and probably a lot more!

Dollar strengthens and both POG and Silver down. POG now well below 1300, whereas it all look so promising end of last week! Question is: When will the real next Bull Run in gold (and therefore Silver) happen? Does it take a Black Swan to trigger this rise as it can be dramatic when it happens, LOL. Hochs at 230 is good value for money, imho!

Very small for CMCL! The recent rally in POG seems temporary and I wonder how low it will fall to before the next real up-leg in POG takes place? November? Sincerely hope so as I am suffering, LOL!

Agree, Mulder (not Connie, I hope - LOL!!!). Frustrating there is no traction on the good news or potential news here! Is it the location - SA putting investors off here, the zwane vs Chambers of Mines dispute? I just know that big time PM investors were never put off in the darkest times of the 60's to 80's to make money from Lesley and a list of others. Politically things can only get better here, imho!

Just a few nibbles at the cherry today. I see three 20,000 share purchases only so far. Small fry, as gold remains above $1290.

So CMCL correct quite a few serious issues and produce a new record gold production in this quarter and with more to come. Electricity failure overcome, rock sizes too large sorted. The boys deserve medals in hot old Bulawayo! Yet, we just blip upwards. So what will it take? Possibly a long sleep for mugabe? A New invigorating government having learnt lessons from the past?
