Rising! Winstonwolf, do you also see more and more articles which makes you think the negative sentiment on Au/g is coming to an end? No reason for volatile HOC's to move (rapidly) up to 300 and beyond. It behaves like that!

Daisan, can I ask if your reading also confirms a change in sentiment towards precious metals? I am seeing this in more than one article that crops up. Would be a bonus for this little gem the way it is performing!

Mr Market may hate uncertainty but the situation with a Grace take-over was going to be a jolly bad move! This is a "special type" of Military take-over, they stress it is not a coup. Maybe they learnt something from elsewhere in Africa? Perhaps free and fair elections can take place and Zim can return to some form of normality. Growth and sanctions can come to an end? Less nepotism, bribery and corruption? Anyway, Blanket is many miles away from Harare, in the bush south east of Bulawayo with 49% indigenous ownership, performing well and I think, if left undisturbed, can produce some great profits and hopefully a great investment in the not too distant future.

I like your enthusiasm but think this is much more long-term for a fat profit! POG needs to move Northward and Elikhulu (sp?) needs to produce the goods. Mining minister needs to be jailed for complicity in State Capture, LOL! Relax, all will be goood! In the meantime there is a dividend but, this is affected by a weakening Rand, sadly!

Just the fatality which is always a heart sore but, mining is a dangerous business. All in all - a great set of results and imho, we can expect even better results for the full year. And we only move up 1,20%? Disappointing mining investors cannot see this a jewel of a mine, just the location. On that note: besides Tanzania, the business with the new mining charter in SA, and the odd bit of trouble with Randgold in Mali. Kaz Gold has also had its political interference and trouble there. Its risk versus financial benefit in many countries, you just cannot escape this aspect of mining in 3rd world countries, can you?

Talk of free education costing upward of R40 billions(or 60?) straining the budget. The implications are a worsening Rand and hence more hedging on gold and mines for leverage. Surely PAF must go up?

So much good news in this RNS. Too late for any reaction but I should think we will move upwards next week on this excellent news. I liked some of the sentences in particular. Adding to a secure mine for the next 30 years, AISC of 700 or so. No share dilution to pay for this development. Adds to security of 80,000Oz production etc.... Lots more to be excited about! I would like to hear what your thoughts are, please?

Good to see you back Lennie. While CMCL headed downwards, it was good to see substantial amounts of dividend payments being made. Hope you are right about the Xmas rally, LOL! Seems to be upward movement in POG. On the political front, it appears mrs m is doing her best to succeed? That is a not a winning recipe, LOL! Perhaps her Champagne drinking, partying son's can distract her to JHB and afriforum get her locked up for assault!!!!

Was it the World Bank that also reprimanded the Tanzanian Govt that their actions seriously effect investment in mining? Wonder if they have had a rethink?

Makeltwork, I am just intrigued why you say so? OK, I understand the Divi but what else are you expecting news on? Actually, what factors here will make PAF break through the ceiling? Obviously a rise in the POG when that happens. Another is a weakening Rand as investor hedge their bets on gold shares. Mining on the JSE has done quite well of late!

POG seems to be in a fluctuating mood. Cannot decide up or down. Just wondering when we move up again? There seem to be signals of hope in Zim. Calls for nationals to return. Cannot see this happening until mugabe goes and a new leader with a plausible rebuilding plan takes a grip.
