Guys, how do you see PAF's share price recovering if there are further significant rises in POG? This share is a popular one with South Africans and institutions there, who are use to living with risk!

Winstonwolf, this has been my wish and the prediction of all those (right wing, Stockman, Rickards and many others on King World) sceptics of the FED and Central Bankers around the world. Basically sick, poorly performing western economies. Central Banks constantly making the wrong decisions (e.g. interest rate rises by the FED). Gee, I hope this is NOT a blip but the real deal, LOL!!! Yesterday Silver on one site went up as a percentage more than Gold and hope this trend continues.

I see the POG had jumped $30 as quoted on News 24SA but about 20 on Gold seek. I wonder if this is the start of the next Up Leg for Au?

Chaps, I don't want to sound like I know all as far as African Psychology goes, but I did grow up there, we were both farmers and City folk. I just find it interesting that they (African Leaders) release the worst Stereotype behaviours in me! LOL! When they act what we feel "irrationally" I seem to think: "I told you so" !! The selected few seem to think it is fine to make the masses suffer to just enrich their little group and fail to see the larger picture? In the case of ACA (also Shanta), their actions will make it difficult for International Miners to invest in the wonderful resources Tanzania has. Implications - less jobs and State Income for turning on growth for a rapidly increasing population. Basic economics imho!

Yesterday, the POG/S rose by more than $10. Sudden change in PM sentiment coupled to a weakening in the USD. This must mean a rise in both Au & Ag prices and hopefully a next leg up here? So says Larry Edelson's e-Wave blog yesterday as US economic results were disappointing and the chances of Yellen raising interest rates has weakened.FED be hind the economic events curve again! Appears to be Loss of faith in USD. Seems we are in for interesting times again in PM's? Next leg UP? Which will then do better? Gold or Silver? Silver back to above £16

I agree with you after a quick read realdeal2. But I bet that negotiations behind the scenes are ongoing? Better to have some continuity than a complete breakdown.

Sotolo, the world in PM's is pretty Volatile right now, no doubt about that. Hence very difficult to call/predict! I was reading a Zero Hedge article on London's Silver Vaults, google and have a read as well as another article on King World on Au/g. Swiss 1, just my humble opinion but the recent pronouncements at the anc conference does not inspire Hope for SA with a bunch of muppet's at the helm, directed from Dubai! There is trouble ahead and I sold all my PAF's, as much as I liked the company, its management and its plans to become a genuine Mid-tier Gold producer. Zwane made utterances such as " I was influenced to have 50 +1% BEE, but settled for 30%". Really? Then interference with the Reserve Bank and their actions on possible Land Grabs! This is real africa! No doubt about that just have a look at ACA, LOL! If they are not careful a Venezuela scenario is just around the corner. For heavens sake - where in the world do you have a leader in charge who cannot add? But knows a lot about stealing! Similarly, the who "White Monopoly Capital" was a diversion while the elite happily stole or steal only for themselves. Like Zimbabwe, the zumite only wants illiterate masses, you give them a sandwich and tea shirt to vote for you and promise them the hollow earth!

Agree! I can still see the Nag Apie Minister of Finance in a Orange suite! Include the minister of mining who thinks he is ever so bright and understands world economics, LOL!!!!. Unfortunately only on the local pitch, no foreign investment will flow here and what killed Apartheid in the end? No foreign investment, hey!

And Silver, Ionic? What is your technical analysis or view on the POS? My reading and research points to Ag being IN favour and on an upward trajectory over the next 2 months or so, Weiss Investments in Florida, Larry Edelson's AI charting which has been consistently accurate of late. Interesting interview I listened to yesterday that gives food for thought on how the DOW could reach 30,000 or more before the big crash! I will find the link and post. All said and done - we are not far from a major collapse - just a matter of exactly WHEN, LOL!!! Then need to have some !
