I will try to find info on what big players in mining such as Sipho Pityana - who is still a member of the ANC - has to say about this "new mining charter". So far, nobody with any sense of a brighter future has anything positive to say. It smacks of the elite few (blacks) only scoring on this one. If this charter comes into action, international investors will be deterred and there will be a reduction in mining jobs for the masses. Remember, the "official employment figure" for SA is in the region of 27% and probably much higher. Poor people are enslaved by the delivery of a very poorly run educational system, therefore no hope! Enough, let's see.....?

Quick look this morning and cannot find news on Yellen's pronouncements from late yesterday. Anybody know what was said? Any indication of further signs of US recession? Dollar looked weaker this morning.

seer, I don't know about you guys but I am taking a real old hammering across the PM board today! LOL! I wondered if the POG would make a bit of a rally and there are some US Stats to influence events a little with their pronouncements later today, maybe the week will take a turn for the better? Trouble is: I read how there is further gross manipulation on POG and Silver by the "big Boys"!

Would be nice to have something different to "straight line days" this week? Some news on the NY listing, a RNS on All is well with Production, or more management buying our share - just anything would do, frankly! I still have high hopes for CMCL, and why not? POG seems to have reached its next low and there may just be a little rally, who knows?

Sadly, I have given up on old SA. The constitution is not enough to hold the number of crooks to account. I now only hold a handful to play with! For the last 2 years it has been unbelievably accurate , and that projection also seems to indicate a rise to 1300 by December obviously not in one foul stroke = with little ups and downs but UP (wards). seer, glad you are back. Time to dip in again on this giant? I read on Weiss Investments (Larry Edelson's group) that they expected Silver to start its next run from the end of this month, ahead of Gold but gold would reach 1300 by the end of year OR much, much higher! I am of the glass half full variety, LOL!
