Banksman, all ex-Africans are watching. The first hurdle are the current Metro elections. If they indicate a move away from the governing party, it will be good move but, if there is any hint of rigging the election, that changes the whole ball game. I personally think we have 2 years of safety and by then the POG bonanza would have struck, the HUI would have reached 500 and it will be time to get out of gold and invest elsewhere!

Thanks Banksman and all that is perfectly sensible. My main worry is to watch for a political implosion down south. Zimbabwe's peoples war against their ruler may well be catalyst down further south. There is a drought and the economy is stagnant. Metro elections may be interesting. Personally, I am watching events carefully.

Anybody know why PAF has moved up more than 8% today? Am I missing something? Or is it inevitable that this share will march up to 30pence?

Glad to see the results and the rise! Long may it last while other miners are treading still. Guess there will be another big jump upwards when POG moves towards $1400 as investors look for credible miners, so better stock up!

Geckoman, the one good thing about BEE is that wealthy "disadvantaged folk" own millions of shares here. I don't think they would be too pleased if their shares were confiscated? Basket case down south, yes. But not ready for this kind of take-over just yet. You are right, one needs to keep an eye on the situation there - 0,1% growth and 6% inflation plus more than 40 or so % unemployed = eventual catastrophy.

Thanks for that graph, Davbro68. Don't want to be greedy but when do they pay a divident? I have been accumulating since PAF was 9 pence and not bailing out, this is just a start - except - if SA implodes. We need to watch that space!!

Just does'nt want to go there! I bet it will flood upwards when it happens. Obviously, dependent on a further rise in POG. I wonder what the effect of a slight redress of the POG will have on paf? Afterall, Bull-runs are never a one way ticket!

So can we break 20pence a share this week, why not?

Well written and said, mycool (or no so cool if you received the message working for the mine!). What does it take to keep share holders informed! Heck it would be nice to know they are resolving a relatively minor issue!! Or just bad planning?

Banksman and Co, I cannot understand why there is so little activity on this board? This is an exceptionally well managed company, that produces the goods (Au etc...) and pays a good dividend (albeit in SA terms!). It could go sky high if the POG goes 1400. Its downfall is having to cope with the Southern African situation but the management are hungry for success. A recent interview with the CEO revealed grades mined will improve and the labour situation is as stable as the southern hemisphere here can offer. As long as there is no great political instability, they adhere to all BEE rules and regs and pi's should be able to make a buck or two here, imho!

This share seems to be making great strides as an African Miner and thanks Mick for your recent in-put on this board. If the gold price takes off this share price could rocket up-wards when the herd look-out for stable gold producers, imho.
