Daisan, it is not that I want a black swan event. The reality is that they CAN come from nowhere. There are so many possibilities in this current world of uncertainty. If one looks at the level of world debt (universal), then there is every likely hood a domino can fall, imho.

Is there a reason why this board is so quiet? Are we all waiting for the POG to recover from the $1250 zone? Some say the bigger players don't want the POG to move upwards until after Hilary is elected. Others say large Hedge Funds are already piling into Gold Shares and that is why there are no further drops in the POG to a $1240 level. Your thoughts anyone?

Wow, those production figures surely must boost Fres? Like Quoth, I am a little puzzled or is some patience required? This business with the FED wanting to increase interest rates is a constant background noise, imho. I cannot see it happening or if it does, it will tank the US economy good and solid. Possibly the 3rd world as well, as debt becomes intolerable. Good for the POG!

If the POG rebounds, PAF will take off in an upward direction, I don't doubt that and was sorry not to be able to top-up at 18 pence a while ago. Was doing well mid-day today.

I have it from a reliable source that CMCL is lying upward because of a marketing programme (I presume in Canada/USA?) and trading on thin volumes. No other reasons.

Lennie, what do you think the lowest POG will be before our fortunes change? $1240 or as low as $1200? Whatever it is, the next up-leg will be massive and very sharp, so I will take the pain and wait.

Lennie, I am the only sheep bleating here, it seems! My teeth are worn but will keep fattening at the rate this rises. I have done a search and cannot find a reason besides as you say, they like this share across the pond! What possible transaction could that be?

Seems the bigger players want to be liquid and hence Au & Ag are down. I wonder what the bottom will be? We just need a Black Swan or two! The bounce up will be dramatic, imho!

So the non-pharms were disappointing today - only if you were a cynical outsider. 156,000 vs required 170,000, or thereabouts! Plus, Pound plunged - so what was the real reason this share surged today? POG? Are we back possibly back upwards with the Au Bull Run? Correction time over and the Chinese back to buy Au at bargain prices on Monday?

I wish the yanks can make up their mind if they are in a recession or not. Another piece of that puzzle tomorrow, I guess.
