Guys, others to watch seriously are Ariana and Caledonia. Have a look but do your own research. Shanta sp also unfairly got hit hard imho, and looks like a solid share in Au and should do well.

POG steadily UP! Hope the tide has turned? Like Hedgehogg I'd like to know more about the exact major factors for an upward trend. I guess a slight reduction in the strength of the dollar, oil price, economic figures such as the chance of a US rate rise and US employment - to mention just a few. I am expecting a steady trend upward for PAF if POG plays its part over the coming weeks/months. Of interest, I read somewhere that the total world production of Au is about 180,000 tons of which SA has produced 55%. The richest deposit of Au in the world is still in SA but 2km down! Relax not PAF! The stats below hopefully tell us a positive story, thank you!

But, we have a solid share here which should perform for us PI's and if the price of gold performs, there is no labour/political unrest the solid management should deliver for us. The ruddy list of international events that look good (like a succession of rate hikes as an example, Trump stimulating the US economy, strengthening $ etc.) all make me pessimistic about the POG!!! Heck, I need the POG to go up to survive!!! Luckily there is also a list of possible calamities, lol! In one word international DEBT!

I think you are right about the POG! There is really nothing to hold it up and it has been beaten down by the Big Boys shorting the hell out of it! But, when their shorts come to and end, I wonder if the rush IN may be the next leg up? Hope so!

Gold as really dropped overnight and $1134 today. I wonder what the real urning point will be but suspect the rise, when it comes will be massive! Particularly if it is a bad news trigger. I will be topping up when my divi arrives as I think this share will be one of the best performing when the POG improves. Wait patiently to see!!! Tough being a Gold Bug at the moment! Dow rise is unsustainable, Dollar will sink itself gaining strength, realisation of magnitude of Debt are all in favour of a Au bounce soon etc...

Shareminator, you have to agree that Zim is a fascinating part of the world, at least politically! Imagine if we had million plus inflation here!! Lol! The reigning government would be OUT within a wink for bad management etc....!!!
