Sure thing, that (SHG) is another that can do well with less political interference. Quite volatile and hence if you buy on the dips, sure to do well! Amanda van Dijk also likes that one! Pappadon, I have a suspicion you are right!!!! LOL! But willing to try things in desperation waiting for PM's to turn. I don't have a link but if you Google Panmure Gordon and read their Golden Nuggets 1/4 article for the 27th January - very interesting article on their view on the factors influencing POG/S - about 5 factors discussed short, sharp and sweet! Some nice graphs as well. They are quite conservative.

POG $1192 & POS 16,85 at the moment and down from recent highs with weakening dollar (plus other factors?). Perhaps we can get past this Options expiring today and the Chinese holiday for the next lift up? Can believe the rise in the DOW is sustainable, supported by about 30 of all shares there? Correction must come with trumponomics. No further rumours of a merger here?

So now we have had the inauguration. What a speech! Sounded like a CEO with a bone to grind! "Wars" on all fronts (trade, healthcare, food production etc...) as America is put first. On that front, the USA has always considered itself 1st! A speech creating global uncertainty - so good for POG, imho!

Cadell, thinking about it, what are we exactly waiting for on this share? News wise? Personally, I watch the goings on in SA with a magnifying glass! It is in my blood as an ex-South-boon! I see how the world has changed or could change. Politics and power, money power. As for PAF, is their workforce kept in toe? Not easy as the Unions are powerful in SA! What new mining or tax legislation is there to worry about and implications. It was Doug Casey who I think made a fortune investing in the big old Lesley and Kinross mines etc.. when nobody would touch SA 1960 to 90! We can do the same here with PAF, but what would the next news be that we wish to hear and keep an eye on? The two factions in Barberton should soon sort out who is the dominant group to supply labour in a country with 40% unemployment. Having a job is a serious matter in that environment! Next wage negotiations up due when? Aaagh, forget all that, let's concentrate on Oz mined!!! LOL!

Aim and investing here is a glorified form of gambling - but better than the horses! I do like this game but hate to lose! PAF is an excellent share, well managed in a difficult political environment. Profitable and hope the punters and bigger investors see it this way. I hope this sp rises to 30 pence if gold performs over the coming months? No reason why a strengthening dollar cannot be accompanied by a rise in POG, or that Yellen's threat of a rise in interest rates dictates a lower POG. There is immense volatility with many political changes occurring and the debt level particularly in European banks must mean pressure upwards. So many factors to influence POG! I hope my arguments hold sway?

MasterRSI, my level 2 console is very confusing this morning and please help me understand this!!! 200 bucks is a lot to spend on something I cannot use properly! LOL!!! The Buy side is far less than sell when I look on that page! Yet, bid vs ask are well below the sp? How can that be?

At 9H27, my new level 2 console shows more buys at 419 than sells! Let's see if the imbalance and depth of trading improves over the day? This share requires that big investors take a liking to it i.e. Good consistent record results cannot be a bad thing! LOL Obviously the POG plays a vital role. The mining costs are usually fairly fixed so the leverage for every dollar the pog goes up means exponential profit. Question is: Has the deal or possible deal with Endeavour fallen flat? Anybody know?
