Rosewall...i believe your pro independence for scotland and that is your right....ive never received a reply from any pro independence supporter as to which currency you would have if that happened...im only curious and i believe in a democracy so if the scots did vote for independence i would say lets just get on with that......its the currency thing ...any ideas ?

sold quite a few shares in lloyds aviva and bt this morning....tbh i still like lloyds and aviva but i have learnt to take a decent profit...plus im finding myself chained to the computer too much for my liking....gl all atb.

patience is definitely the key now with barclays imho now going to treat the share as a long term investment rather than look to day/week trade...

I now think patience is required have quite a few barc shares at 179.5 I thought I would make a quick return but not there atm...Fridays retail sales figure the last of the big 3 pieces of data this week...Will wait till then to decide next move...gl all.

Only lloyds can get involved with buying a company with loads of miselling court cases pending...obviously they must have a great deal on the table...lawyers must love lloyds bank imo.

only done 1 trade this week and was fortunate to make a small amount on a barclays trade as posted here earlier in the week.For me the unemployment figures in the us tomorrow at 1.30pm will give me more insight into whether theres more upside in this market in the short term i feel this data will have more significance than normal(although it is usually the biggest piece of data of the month).I hold a lot of physical shares and sold a third of my lloyds shares recently but will hold onto the rest until 50-55p....gl all.
