Most likely a sell meaning the churn is still on - normally any £6 mil cap stock would spike up 10% with just £15 to £20k of buys - which is what this was doing pre placing, but has been going nowhere last 2 weeks despite seemingly relentless buys

But can guarantee we will very quickly see when the placing churn is done as the stock will suddenly start spiking up with small buys initially back up to the 0.04 region as a hell of a lot of interest now in this stock

Probably the most watched on AIM at this moment

Been quite a few decent off book buy orders on L2 so far today - probably just anticipation - can’t imagine there’s a leak but never know

Can’t put too much gloss on it - if they can’t get a T/O or massive uplift in orders in next few months to boost SP / get some kind of funding through they up Sh 1t creek without a paddle

If it’s a standard 7am RNS folk on the sidelines won’t be getting in under 0.045 / 0.050

If it’s an intraday folk sat on the sidelines may just get lucky and be able to get in quick at 0.035 to 0.038 presuming the stock stays around this SP range

Incredible it’s still sat £6.5 mil including placing shares - compared to all oilers in similar positions it’s currently at least 50 to 75% undervalued - can only think it’s just because folk don’t trust JA due to years and years of expectation and non delivery ?

The companies potential value could end up running into billions - but that’s for another day

The fact of the matter for today is there’s at least 1 offer of full funding from a major for a minority stake to extract 35 mil barrels in Cameroon - with 2 more offers pending

JA cannot possibly lie about this and it’s clear he’s no concerns about the current SP and the need to ramp it - unlike another CEO’s company with £8.5 mil cap who may be in a similar position with far less worthy assets

Yes icecool - being an avacta holder myself I agree your summary is most logical - but as I say the most illogical things have already happened at avacta - and there’s many more companies out there apart avacta with an eye for a bargain !

They’ve currently got about £40 mil to play with - but yes agreed it would seem illogical - but then it also seemed totally illogical to use their bond money buy launch diagnostics for £24 mil and then more astonishing that they then acquired Coris for £10.5 million and then 9 months later needed to raise another £35 mil because they’d run out of cash

Yes and it doesn’t help that it isn’t at the top of the board unless you click ‘more share risers’ so it’s getting missed hence the reason no herd here
