I have just listened to the podcast which was interesting. I took it that the market wanted to see if they could deliver Copper and the new inyoni rather than any disclosure of information. It probably may sum up to be the same thing to people but quite rightly now they have shown that they can deliver especially Copper and hopefully show in the next few months that they can deliver Cobalt no matter how much then the future looks interesting. I am hoping that the subtle change in Leon's approach has been because of the new chairman. I don't think we will hear anything about a deal in SA or Zambia until January by which time our cash position should be much healthier so we can get a probable facility.
Yet again patience is needed GLA

Jlp was also down nearly 7% on the SA exchange, it's not fund management as it's too small.

Thanks for your post regarding costs per ounce of PGM.
The only thing I would say is that there are no transport costs for the material
that is at Inyoni being the major proportion of what is processed I have always assumed
that the transport costs are purely attributed to the material transported which would then
possibly be the case. Maybe I'm wrong

I have listened to the interview and ask my self the following.
Is Leon telling the truth, well if he isn't he would be pulled up by more important people than ones on the boards on here or ADVFN
Is he massaging the figures re Chrome and PGM's re credits as some on the boards have said, I relly don't know but I would like proof if anyone has it.
Thirdly, as he said, he can't do anything about the prices of Copper of PGM's but the cash JLP will be throwing off will be huge.
Fourthly, he has not said anything about future growth so in these uncertain times consolidation from a strong base would be fantastic and prudent. There are some people on boards who expect far too much and want like everyone else the SP to be 20p (including me) but times are bad and cash is king so you can't blame people for wanting cash and sitting tight. Your thoughts on the above would be welcome Good Luck all

I do fundamentally agree with everything you say, I am an investor here and still in profit but the management has been poor and they have had unlucky breaks. When I first invested I always asked myself why they stopped mining in the early 20th Century at Akroteri if they were finding 24gms a ton. The soil and rock is a problem but they should of researched into Ashantit find out if they were having the same problems as this would be to me the first area to look at. It seems amatuerish

I think you will find that they cleared the debt in SA so they could then go to Banks for loans.
I also think that anyone who thinks that Colin will have any leverage on deciding anything to do with
share placements or Banks is on a different planet. Ollie has a lot of influence now and he wouldn't take it on otherwise.
He is totally used to projects small or large and funding them and advising Leon on how to grow the Company .
He probably stated in the first meeting that there at far too many shares in issue. The other point is we don't know how much the Northern project in Zambia is going to cost yet we also don't know how much the Eastern Limb will cost yet.
Don't you think people should start having these conversation once the facts are known

I have always read your post with interest but I'm afraid your last post has really surprised me. For a start a non exec director of any PLC could not possibly be responsible for deaths and social problems. They could always resign because of it but that is not really realistic in a financial world. I also think that Ollies first comment on JLP being that they not only produce raw material but clear it up shows to me that he did not really know of this aspect but he could be very effective in future expansion plans but more in financial plans which are more important.If he works 4 days a month on JLP that would be quite a lot but hopefully very worth it

I'm probably going to get shot for this but I can't understand why some people think it's bad to give a top person loads of incentive to make money with their experience. To me it's a bit like these people would go on Dragons Den with a great idea with Dragons wanting 30% of the business and the person not agreeing with it because they will only go to 20% small minded tight fisted people who want everything but will not give anything.
Would Ollie put his name to something that he doesn't think is going places or that he can't add huge value to.
Yes the SP is driving me mad but if they do the East Limb as say it's supported by a Bank loan now that we have a first class Chairman on board then that's great, he will then be doing his job

Good post but the costs for Copper production was $4500-£5000 per ton not $500=$600 per ton
