And I have been around longer than 2011 and that doesn’t make me more right or wrong either.
I too have seen those very changes since the blog that you mention !! However, I deal in the Here and Now and NOT what happened 4-5 years ago. You seem to want to forget the evolution and change that R1 has gone through during this period, turning in to in my opinion a totally different company.
Those changes and transformations were necessary and pivotal to its very existence and progress and NOW we have a larger and better equipped company that can boast being cleaner than clean in the present climate.
You may say well what about the low SP then ? Well, those changes and evolutions , as well as recent acquisitions have carried elements of RISK in the eyes of the market. From technical integration risks to pressure on cash in the bank risks to management continuity risks etc etc.
R1 now needs to demonstrate that as a NEW larger unified and streamlined entity it can start to generate sustainable profits. And to quote YOU .. the SP will take care of itself.
As a reminder its also worth noting that during the above transformations of R1 The Main Large Share holders not only didn’t run away BUT have been buying even more stock.
Perhaps they know something me and you don’t
