It’s a fair question Pearls.

No forward guidance so even the Board cannot give figures. It’s a fools errand but maybe based on a slimmed down organisation reduced full year revenue $5m -$7m range. Losses of 8-9m. Enough in reserves to keep trading but not enough to expand and service new markets so new fundraising round in Q4.

All of this may be way of the mark but this IMHO is the most optimistic scenario as the trend has been falling revenue and heavy losses. There is only so long a co. can sustain these and continue trading.

All the bad news is in the share price. For the shareholders the results better be good. If there is more bad news and viability is brought into question, expect sub 15p.

Pearls, it’s as if you are working on the premise that if you make enough predictions eventually one of them might be correct. These are simply not realistic.

Glad that creepy Spratt is no longer poring over my posts. He/she seemed genuinely confused with the figures I mentioned.

Unfortunately, no doubt, he/she will still be reading them & covering themselves by resorting to insults.

No need for AI though. The posters on this BB who have challenged the cheerleaders for this stock, already know that sites such as Hargreaves Lansdown and the FT are great sources of information with the former supplying a breakdown of financial data going back 5 years. Grim reading that it is.

Up2date- I absolutely do stick by that. Let’s be clear - I said a share price that gives a p/e of well under 3 and a circa £20m market valuation.

Those figures are correct. Do you dispute them? If so, what are yours?

While I appreciate I’ve used some words you clearly don’t recognise, much less understand , the comment you have made is as ill informed and banal as all your posts Spratt.

Depending on what metrics you use the shares do look cheap on some level. A p/e of well under 3 suggests they are not overvalued at 16p. It also demonstrates that the company is not in great demand for reasons previously articulated. The markets have settled on a value of circa £20m which will change depending on whether there is more demand or more determination to offload stock.

It pays no dividend so will not be attractive to unit trusts and other funds.

Irrespective of results the market will look for reassurance of a longer term profitable future. If the company cannot give that then best case is a holding pattern for the foreseeable future and we all know the worst case.

I have numerous examples of cases where people talked up a stock when ( and you may spill whatever you are drinking in shock at this thought ) they were not actually invested!

You keep referencing my ‘investment course.’ It’s Business Studies & a very small part of it covers information sources in the social media, etoro, etc, age.

Where does one get their information on stocks. BBs these days are a part of it & they do have a role to play but they are also dangerous and this is one of the most ill informed boards I have ever encountered. It is right for people like you to be challenged when you present hope value as something more.

In another life we could talk about what makes a good investment, the views of the HBR and the Buffet - Munger philosophies etc and if, by pointing out some of the schoolboy errors by many on this board, to a new and young generation of investors then its worth doing.

That was overly sarcastic but there is something unsettling in the ways that you are promoting the stock and sneering at those who point out what is reality at this point in time.

I am not accusing up2date of holding a short position but there is no justifications for some of the ramping on this bb.

Quite right up2date. Yes they are massively loss making, no they can’t provide forward guidance, yes they undershot targets by $8m but they have recognised “ it’s not been an easy journey.”

I had to do a double take when I read Pearls post.

People really do need to educate themselves on the potential fallout from the investigation.

“Early signs of momentum”, aspirations”, “energised, focused and committed.” All lovely but meaningless in terms of shareholder value. Markets don’t seem too impressed. What do people on this BB see that company analysts don’t?

Pros- the company is still here, still trading, still solvent.

Cons- no forward guidance and heavily loss making. Targets on breakeven missed by a country mile.

Since incorporation in 2008 it has never turned a profit.

We could get into a debate about efficient markets but the share price reflects the state of the company. Animal spirits may drive it higher but any rise on the basis of hope rather than fundamentals is unsustainable …..and then there’s the FCA investigation.

Pearls, it’s only fair that you have a laugh too. I read your posts when the shares were 80p & also I recall a suggested course of action, made by you , that if the company had pursued would have been illegal.

Ultimately the killer for a sustainable price rise is the lack of guidance. It’s sensible the Board have pulled the guidance given its complete incompetence in its previous statements as late as October. If they don’t know it’s better they admit that. I challenge anyone who say the Board has played a blinder. They are steering a leaky boat.

Cash flow break even was promised going into 2025. Let’s see if they’ve made it. If so, and they demonstrate a credible path to profitability over the next couple of quarters, then the share price could improve as there will actually be something underpinning the rise. I suspect they may beat Q1 24 income ( wouldn’t be difficult) but key will cash flow breakeven.

Have to admire the nerve of anyone jumping in with a huge investment at this stage. It’s a pure gamble.

Interesting times ahead.

Few new names on this bb so like up2date will now post. The refusal to answer a question is a giveaway that u are likely just speculating on a rock bottom priced share in between your coffees with Steve & Chris lol. It smacks of desperation.

This has been informative for my students as to the perils( no pun intended Pearls )of listening to contributors who base their posts on emotion rather than facts.

No mention here of the cost to CRTA if found guilty by the FCA which is very possible given the awful governance standards in place at the time. They have the power to levy fines of 25% of t/o- admittedly by the time the investigation is over that may be zero.

The withdrawal of guidance 2 weeks prior to y/e fooled no one ( apart from some here) , certainly not the markets. The issue with the product referred to by management in the last update is also a major concern. Ultimately a company fails if it runs out of cash. Cirata is running out of cash, already heavily loss making and anything the company’claims should be (let’s be generous in the description) taken with an abundance of caution.

There are people’s livelihoods at stake so let’s hope they will still have a job in 18 months time.

As for my business classes this is a fascinating story which we have followed once the £115m fraud story broke. Following it and the board chats will hopefully prep them to recognise what a good investment opportunity in the future looks. Needless to say this doesn’t come close to being one.
