Good to see you posting. Lots of LTH on the board, I’ve been here since 2018 and although I’m very keen to BOD to quicken things up I’ve a lot of faith in JC and the team. He’s an excellent CEO and I’d like to think many of us here will 4 or 5 bag

But with Thorny River forecast to produce revenue in the tens of millions it would appear the catalyst for BOD would be finding a partner for the combined Ghaghoo and KX36 interests

So do you think Ghagoo is linked to KX36 and in turn to Thorny River?
I appreciate JC is very much looking at the bigger picture here but when o when will be see the potential reflected in the SP?

yes I hear you - I'm invested here almost solely for the Thorny River resource so the sooner they start mining it the better.
And if you've got the nerve to hold for more than 5p then good on you.
Personally I I don't think I have.
If we made 4-5p I'd definitely sell

I do agree with much of your post, particularly around the risk of being bought out on the cheap.
And I'd very much like to see Botswana Diamonds become Botswana Mining.
I'm interested however in what price you're looking for in the long term. If for example you were offered 5p per share would you consider that a good result?

So I had an exchange with JC this afternoon and this a little long winded so my apologies.
Initially I expressed that the reaction amongst investors was mixed and that I personally was hoping for a push towards mining TR instead of an addition of an exploration licence. I also reiterated the idea from clock man that the company could be spreading itself a little thin. It was my intention to simply copy and paste JC's replies but he has asked me not to do so as it may impact on a deal he is concluding at present.

HOWEVER

The company is very much pressing ahead with Thorny River and KX36. The license which we heard about today is part of the Petra Diamonds / Sekaka deal from about 2 years ago. He also added that the granting of licences takes a considerable amount of time and the company is always on the look out for 'accretive transactions'. He was also keen to emphasise that within diamond exploration it is very important not to allow your competitors to 'steal a march on you'.

So to my mind todays deal isn't something new - it is simply the company completing a deal which wasn't possible a couple of years back. Happy to hear thoughts :-)

‘Dilute focus’ I think that very much sums it up. Why isn’t the company going hell for leather on thorny river?
I’ve messaged James and asked if he could shed some light on how this latest development fits in with existing projects.
