Well, I’m still holding around 3.5m (with a b/e of around 0.65) so I’d say there is room for optimism.

But to put things in more context - back in April 2024 it became apparent that we were negotiating a deal in Zimbabwe.

And despite JC’s refusal to initially acknowledge it a member of the government was waiting for a bribe to get the deal through.

And we are still waiting . . And waiting. . And waiting. That’s Africa for you.

I do get very tired of hearing the word ‘hope’ from James C.

And on the extreme end of Pessimism - The Botswana government are currently negotiating a deal for De Beers, And I suspect that will take up all of their attention. Which begs a question when will we get ours?

A few of us get fairly regular updates from James Campbell.

He has stressed that it’s a very long process and that he’s working on it alone. Therefore, it is a case of grinding it out.

But given the cash Situation he very much needs a deal in the short term

Excellent post Troy to Tiber.

But as you say, it is difficult to know what is going to happen next.

With only a small amount of money left, (£70k), will funding be needed BEFORE the licenses are granted. Or will funding arrive once the licenses have been granted.

One thing is for sure, however - we have to trust in James Campbell our hard-working CEO

According to JC the due diligence has been completed by the prospective JV partner - and that was a few weeks ago.

As far as the partnership being announced, they'll have to obtain the prospecting licences.

In theory that shouldn't be taking too long given the recent RNS

This has risen from 0.09 all the way to 0.4p on no news.

And in due course a JV deal will be announced.

Although another fund raise isn't out of the question I'd say it wasn't likely in the short - medium term.

Firstly the company has raised 500K already this year.

Secondly the JV partners will be confirmed this year

And thirdly (and most importantly) if there is any weakness on the bid it is bought up very quickly.

Unless the buyers at this level are complete chancers,(I doubt it), why buy now when a placing will be at a discount to the current price?

I’ll be blunt.

Sell these shares at your absolute peril.

Forget diamonds for the time being.

Polymetallics with a joint venture looks to be where we’re heading.

Hold or buy IMO :-)

Following recent market speculation, Angus Energy (AIM: ANGS) announces it has entered into a non-binding agreement to purchase a group of producing assets located in the Gulf of America ("Potential Transaction").

Given the nature of the Potential Transaction, this would constitute a reverse takeover under Rule 14 of the AIM Rules for Companies and accordingly, the Company's shares have been suspended from trading.
