Yep, I kind of know this is a really really poor state of affairs.

Given the low rough diamond price, the past 12 months were never going to be about the mining of diamonds.

But more about the company’s ability to clinch the right deals for when the market recovers.

And to put it bluntly James Campbell our CEO is not clinching deals and it is now November.

I too, am very deep, here. So I can do is sit and wait.

Yes, you’re quite right.

We do need something to happen.

We need the Zimbabwe deal, and James is still very confident we’ll get it.

Ideally, we need a 15 to 20% increase in rough diamond prices for mining to be viable in a general sense.

But given the fact that Zimbabwe is home to fancy and coloured diamonds means the current low rough diamond Price has much less of an impact if you were to start operations there.

Personally, I’m not selling a bean.

I’m in far too deep 😁
