I can't find any info on Amerisur license in Paraguay they went quiet after the failed drill, what was your interest.
In my search I found we had an offer before covid, I had realised a offer had been tabled i thought it was just discussion

The term of the Pirity Concession, being the principal asset of the Company in Paraguay, has benefited from an extension of time due to force majeure, the result of which means the Concession period extends until the first quarter 2022. In the event of successful drilling, this period will be extended further into a long-term production licence.

Prior to the Covid-19 crisis, President was in substantive discussions with a foreign National Oil Company (NOC) who, after detailed due diligence, made a preliminary offer in relation to a farm-in, including the drilling of a well on the Delray complex containing, in total, an estimated 230 MMboe of Oil in Place ("STOOIP"). Due to the crisis, these discussions were suspended. Accordingly, whilst at the present time there has been no concrete re-engagement with that party and there is no guarantee that such will re-occur, the detailed discussions did encouragingly demonstrate that the farm-in prospectivity is real and tangible. The force majeure extension of the Concession period will be of significant benefit in the ongoing farm-out process.

In the Pirity Concession as a whole, as previously announced, President has identified in its estimation over 500 Mmboe of STOOIP. Further geological details of prospects in the Pirity block can be found at the Company's website

A bit apprehensive maybe. looking at past Jan RNSs they can be a bit sparse.
The trading prices are a bit different to the Bid and Ask, those at 1.72 are sell and the 1.77 are all buys 600000 plus buys so far.

I not sure where the non disclosure can discount prior art.
My understanding is you do all the NDA and then get down to the nitty gitty and at that point Samsung will review the patent to see if its what the want and if its viable form a manufacturing point and also test the patent validity. if they discover or can show prior art then it becomes a point to be resolved. They would have to sign a agreement to use the patent or not. If it can be proved they use the patent without agreement or showing prior art the the arguments ensue which is were we are now. If at this point we assume Samsung are using the intellectual property knowingly or unknowing they should had made a prior art disclosure before now. As far as I can gather they are not making any technical argument of it not the same or the patent is not valid. It could be part of the business model to take what they want and deal with it if it come back to bite them. There is probably a muti million fund set aside just to facilitate this modus

AParky the cost must be well north of $100m invested in Paraguay add in cost of consessions, drilling +++, but they are showing a un risked prospect of 3 Billion BOE. What has been most frustrating is the lack of something to show for it after what must be 7 or 8 years, I first got in around 2013. PPC have had a chequered history with farm outs, there was the outfit which defaulted on payment, Crescent Global seamed to dissolve into thin air and then we had Envoi trying to broker a deal. PL said he had a plan B if this latest attempt falls flat. Its difficult to formulate a position but with all that's gone before its has to be viewed as a high risk venture even if we get a farm out. I think they quoted a 20 percent chance of success at one stage. It maybe why the SP is where it is as Paraguay is casting a shadow over the rest of the company. A farm out should lift the SP as it will throw light on the cost to drill.

Steven49 I believe your correct the 1.69 are buys. I was testing the ask price and it was declining during the day. Bid stayed put at 1.65.
Paraguay is going to be a tough nut to crack, 5he drilling was problematic last time with union issues insisting on local Labour and the competence of the drillers mucking up the drill. Then we need the infrastructure oil is a bit easier gas is a challenge. I think a good farm out with a national player will give us some muscle to deal with some of the problems including political leverage. We have a proven record with dealing with these challenges so if anyone can pull it off its PL and his team. He won't wont to come up empty handed a second time.

Spent $150m and they decide to drill next door to a proven oil field, might as well stuck pins in the map across the boarder in Pirity and drill 15 wells. Any way fingers crossed for a successful deal and drill. I'm sure ther e are other challenges along the way, but at least we have a track record in dealing with the infrastructure for oil and gas.

Yes 1.1p was the price for the 92m shares. it's disappointing we couldn't find a partner to lift those and retain them. It feels like everyones looking for an exit point. Its going to be a mammoth job to change attitudes after years of dilution.

Does a lepord change its spots, the directors are still looking out for themselves. It's just likely that some money will trickle down to the PI, a least that's my hope.

Maybe difficult for LTH to see, but try to see a positive with the options. If the oil and gas sector takes off as the government is trying to achieve retaining and rewarding key staff will be part of the stratospheric rise we are about to experience. It's a low cost way to retain and reward key staff I think it's a good move.

I'm in two minds, good news will help the seller and it could speed up the exit. On the other hand we dial down the news and let the SP take the hit. If the latter I'd be inclined to hold off on the Paraguay farm out as it could be a catalyst for a re rate. There hasn't been the buyers with confidence and that is not a recent outlook, you can't keep letting holders down and expect forgiveness by saying get over it. They are trying hard to build confidence up.
