Where the number of daily trades is low (89) then after a few tradings days the data is so sparse that I struggle to see how one can safely predict what it does or does not mean. What number of daily trades or % of shares traded does technical analysis require to be considered credible?

Waiting on the scientific news which hopefully will not be far away.

I am not convinced that trying to apply technical analysis to a small cap company with low liquidity is worthwhile. According to the data above there were just 89 share trades in IMM on Friday.
The science news from trials will drive the share price up or down imo and I remain invested because the first phase three trial was not a total fail, some patients did respond well to the drug and immunological diseases are a hot topic right now.

Interesting, apparently two equal share tranches sold within seconds of each other this morning. Market makers playing games again? Somebody does not want the sp to go anywhere despite the cash on the books and work coming in from Russia.

Gold5 appreciate your exasperation but I personally take great comfort from the fact that other mining majors are also share holders. The RNS is a disappointment because I have slipped from being just in the blue to in the red in 48 hrs with ag value of 24.5p on my stake. Not panicking and broadly optimistic that this will pass 30p in a couple of months if not less.

No shortage of buyers at 21.5p. Happy to hold and see if a bid emerges this year from one of mining majors circling SOLG.

I am stuck with my shares and at home furloughed. I think the bump up in price reflects hope that there will be a V shaped economic recovery and that come July our flying programme will be stuffed with passengers desperate to get away.

Basilhope offers a more tech explanation and while his style of writing posts is eccentric he was a useful source of info on AMER. Momentum trading has pushed the sp up but is it sustainable against the cold hard facts? At some point the market might see the Q2/3 results and realise that the airline is not going to bounce back in 2020.

If you are willing to hold for a few years then now is perhaps not a bad time to trickle invest but DYOR.

Yes, but not yet as the markets very frothy with speculative small investors trading and momentum algos driving things. I could argue that EZJ has not not made any money in 2020. The winter is always a poor quarter but in a normal years trading bookings and revenues start to fly around Easter and continue into the Autumn. I doubt if we will turn a profit until August and so Q2 & 3 results will be dire. My 2000 shares in a company account so liable to tax if I sold them hence obliged to stay put and enjoy the roller coaster ride in sp!

#metoo just purchased 20,000 via HL for 7.3p as I expect a substantial re rating of sp based on clarification of daily production rates and a firmer Brent Oil price.

Hi Colonel, we live in strange times and while I have amassed a fair stake with an average weighted price of 24p because SOLG is sat on a huge stack of copper and gold but given the uncertainties of S American politics and our stock markets when we see 30p plus I will take some profits. After that I would accept swapping my remaining shares for those in BHP or one of the other major holders if they bid.

Not entirely surprised to see the sp drop and once below 24p was happy to top up. 15,000 purchased via HL just now. Expecting news, probably a bid of sorts and would be selling some of my stake at around 30p mark in a few months if all goes well.

Brent prices have recovered significantly and while PMG's income is from gas they are also an oil play yet the sp has stalled at 31p. Any views as to why the sp has not bounced back a bit?

This afternoon somebody purchased 35,000 shares and up goes the price by 16.67%!
Nice, another month or two of buying and who knows what the sp might be?

JTD, what do you think the current NAV is for HUR? The FT suggests around 24p a share but that has not been updated since the news of the wells interfering. My personal view is that the net asset value of HUR has to be about double the current sp hence many small investors inc me perplexed as to why there has been no bounce back this week on the back of oil prices?

Got interested and thought I might buy 5000 more shares given they were down 6.58%...
But when I logged onto HL the real price was down about 1%.....then 3%......then......
In short, prices all over the shop at the moment, wide spread etc.

Context....even a large oil company like Exxon has debt. I do not think that the potential here versus debt rationa risky punt if you are buying at these prices. I am a bottom feeder while other less fortunate investors caught by the sudden drop re bad news. Some clarification of the well engineering (a complex issue) and an update on production rates should see the sp bounce back imo.

By way of context Exxon has a debt to total capital ratio of 24% and according to the FT tearsheet HUR has a tangible book value per share of 25p a share but as said below markets can stay irrational for longer than we can stay solvent....DYOR

Another piece of good news, somewhat disappointed by just a 5% bounce in sp.
