A once solid UK Bank reduced to being a vehicle for day traders and rampers? A brief look at the charts suggests this Bank has never really recovered from what Brown and Labour forced on it in 2009. I was interested in buying in at one point because Lloyds does/did own 25% of UK mortgages but after Covid 19 how many will be in arrears/distress/default? Sad to see Lloyds where it is today and hard to see it having a bright let alone secure future.

Just purchased 30,000 as a top up for 1.89p and noted that there are 4 other purchases today and no sells yet the sp down? This suggests either the trades data above is wrong, slow or that market makers are holding the price down artificially.

Disappointing end to the week with sp dropping after the good news etc. I noticed the RNS re options and wondered if this offers some clue as to where the bid price will sit? Inclined to believe that a bid around 3p still likely but until it arrives who knows?

Yay! I am now .5p away from being in the blue with SOLG a good end to the week if this holds until market close. Started buying at 36p and then had an anxious ride downwards topping up here and there. Black Swan events aside I kept faith in the resources under their patch of ground and bought near the bottom on expectation of a recovery in sp via a bid.

More a storm in a teacup? A bit miffed that it has dropped back had hoped it would hold 15p, will consider buying a few at 13p.

Reasonable news given the Covid 19 issues and expect a solid bid to merge in the next month.

Nolo not sure what you mean by 16p halfway point? Aggregate of 32p on your holding? Personally, having listened to comments included yours I took a few chances and added at lower price thus IMM has just turned blue in my SIP for the first time. I remain hopeful of a bid but accept another market sell off could see the sp at 13p again! As has been said below I would take some profits around 19p.

I have quietly bought three tranches of COS over the past week or so in anticipation of a modest bid. What was previously a disadvantage that COS was a very small company with illiquid trading might now be a bonus because the few of us that follow it can buy it cheaply. I would expect a bid north of 3p.

It is all good news for OXB but don't forget this government is big on rhetoric in the media but quite poor at delivery. Example, the 100,000 tests a day promised by the idiot health minister a few weeks back? I am tempted to buy a few as a punt as are others I dare say but not convinced this will have much impact on financial bottom line.

Bought and sold some CNE recently because the March drops over done imo and there was then a Bear rally to ride but been here for a couple of years with a core holding still in the red. When I last looked the aggregate was about 170p so see this as an opportunity to bottom feed and average down. Q is at what point do board members think we will hit bottom? My gut feel is that regardless of the March drop when traders sold everything the bottom is around 75-80p mark. Thoughts?

Would not be surprised to see a sp drop tomorrow after the initial excitement wears off.
Personally, I would see that as a buying opportunity as I expect a solid offer to materialise for COS in the next few weeks.

Tangible book value per share 19.92p book value per share 31.2p......leaves us very vulnerable and institutions hold 26% of shares.

Well if nothing else it raise the company profile with the public and politicians which is no bad thing. I would like to see a bid emerge from Russia to take the whole thing private. POS could be swept up for well under 100p a share at the moment.

Hi, work the airline hold some shares via purchase scheme and followed with interest as they crashed. I think the big unknown is how many of our former customers once released from lock down will be in a financial position to buy tickets and go fly abroad for a short break or holiday? While commuters and business customers will return I am not sure which EU countries will be open for tourism in May or June which further complicates matters.

If you have some money and are willing to wait a few years then buying at today's prices not a bad punt but it is a punt.
